Me being from Savannah when I used to come to New Orleans for the summer I always felt like it was home. I met a lot of people in Savannah after the storm they said they felt right at home. I always said Savannah and New Orleans is distant cousins. My godfather is from New Orleans but went to college in Savannah where he met my godmother. Rest in peace goddaddy Leroy.. born on baronne Street died on baronne Street. New Orleans hold a special place in my heart and I got friends that I met as kids coming to visit that I still keep in touch with till this day

Thanks for the video! I’m homesick na, need to make a trip home!😩 I’m from the Melph and Lafitte project, my grandma lived in the Magnolia so I was in there a lot. The projects were home, there are killings everywhere. Tearing down those projects, mixed wards, broke up neighborhoods which were like family, one of the major reason for majority of the crime. I now live in the Suburban part of Houston, but many nights I still cry and wishing I was at home Pre-Katrina sitting on the porch in the projects! ⚜️504 3rd ward 4 Life!⚜️

disenfranchise yall? 300$ a month and thos eprojects were awful, nothing but crime and murder and trash, yall managed to turn that place into one of the worst places to be anywhere. so they demolished it and rebuilt and now ..look.. almost zero crime, zero trash and garbage and its a community that anyone would want to live in. maybe if yall had not run it into the ground and benn robbing and murdering and tearing everything up than it would still stand. displace and disenfranchise? why dont you try not tearing stuff up and not promoting violence and robbery and murder? then people would not mind you living in neighborhoods... these are facts my friend. plain facts.

Juvenile’s baby mama and daughter died. He didn’t even go to the funeral. I have no respect for these artists as you already know they’ve sacrificed these people.

@@tsusurflawyer2432 ok so identify yourself how you choose and let others identify how they choose. I hope that whatever you choose brings you success and fulfilment. Because its alot of successful rich African-Americans who own land right in Louisiana. Africans had boats and world conquest 1200 years before Europeans so those people from Europe could very well seen the exact same people, cultures, languages and religions that they seen in india Africa and Europe. Africans moved to all 7 continents pre colonialism and had great grandchildren there... So if they remember their national descent from African nations just born in America they can claim that if they want tp rather you think its right true or correct or not.. Sometimes we try to colonize people thoughts because the slave master taught us that by doing it to us so we try to force other People to think what we want.
