Very informative. Thank you, thank you, thank you! If I can share a bit, because this all rings true for me. My first vision of Hekate was a guided mediation last Autumnal Equinox where we were to meet our shadow side. I did find myself in front of a cave entrance. I had no idea where I was or what would coming through. A beautiful, white haired woman dressed in black Grecian gown with a gorgeous moonstone necklace and tiara came out to greet me and gave me a warm hug. I could feel the love and wisdom.. She was accompanied by my grandmother. We dealt with childhood pain. Grandma took it from me and we exchanged healing. At that point, grandma had been on the other side for ten years and had yet to have a visitation. Then, I watched the two of them depart back through the entrance. I watched until the disappeared into it's glowing light. It was a beautiful moment.

I love your insight. I am growing with a wiser understanding of my life. My youth was shrouded in darkness, but full of potential and strength. The patriarchal masculine convinced me that my being was flawed, I was not good enough which made confused and felt like chained in servitude. I was afraid of going back. This is an interesting question. To some theorists, such as Eric Neumann, there is a distinction between the Dark Goddess and the Dark Mother. Neumann felt that a goddess was a creation of civilization, something to be worshipped. The Mother, on the other hand, was a primordial force. I tend to follow his classifications.

OMG! So I need some help. I started being interested in witchcraft as many of us did , when the pandemic hit. BUT even now I haven't started doing any spells or things like that but instead I've tarte reading about ancient history and origins of christianity and I've started reading tarot. One day when i first gave an offering to whoever entity has been protecting me, Inanna=Ishtar came strongly through the reading. The fact is that two days before I gave an offering to Hekate and asked her to reveal to me who's been guarding me since birth. That's crazy. I was shook. Since than I've been trying to search for the link between her and Inanna=Ishtar=Aphrodite because I strongly feel there is one. Can you elaborate a bit on Ishtar's relationship with Hekate?

Hekate is often linked to the Anatalian mother Goddess Cybele. There are the also mesoptanian myths of Ianna and Ereshkigal that are very similar to those of Persephone & the Elusian mysteries.

Amazing... But do remember, the colours of Hecate is Black and Crimson. Hecetie is Darkness upon Black. Hecate is Goddes of the Cemetery and Graveyard. Hecetie is Goddes of Mount Olympus and Gaia. Listen, you speak with her.. I know this.. So tel you what.. Next time, you tell her. This guy called Echo says he knows you personally...
