wow! that road has really changed, this was the road that i did my first long distance ride ever ... way back in 2011 we did around 90km from Kakamega to Webuye and back,the last time I cycled on this road was 2015😂 b4 it was expanded ,it uses to have a dedicated cycling lane complete with road markings and bumps but its now been removed

Wow! What a tale. That was quite cool. I miss those days where there was a dedicated cycling road and there were so many cyclists in Kakamega doing what bodabodas are doing. Infact, at some point in Kakamega, we used to call cyclists who transported people Bodaboda and It took me a long time to change that to pikipiki drivers.
