Ok so I live in this area of Spain, Catalunya, and I can confirm that it is pretty much spot on. The changes in mountains to plains and the vegetation changes during the route are all correct. I even like the unfinished building and graffiti which is prominent here.

Hi. Glad to see your early acces video. Was waiting for it. First impressions of Spain are great.I saw that the crossingborder fits with the real life one. Even La Junquera is in the game. Its not an outlet as you mentioned it but a kind of a truckers hub just around the crossing border. The place where all the touringcars gathered together in the early morning just before they delivered their passengers to their hotels. Its the place where I tasted the worst coffee I ever had in my life. Can't wait to drive there on myself.

In my working life as an international truck driver I have driven this route hundreds of times and can confirm that scs has certainly gone all out on this DLC for instance the first town on the left after passing the frontier ( La Jonquera ) looks 100% like it is IRL, looking forward to getting my hands on this and thankyou for the preview 😁😁😁

I used to live near the very AP-7 motorway. Passed there hundreds of times both in car and truck and it’s all VERY real. The only caveat is that between la Junquera (that’s Catalan -Catalonia’s language) and Barcelona it’s just too short. But all the bridges, towns, etc that you see is very real, including the border scenery and motorway.

The mountainous region on the border are the Atlantic Pyrenees, a chain that spans from coast to coast of the Franco-Spanish border, much like the Alps on the Franco-Swiss, Franco-Italian, Italo-Swiss and Austro-Swiss, Austro-Italian border, and how there's also some low-lying mountains when you go to Strasbourg from Metz and vice-versa in France. I like the touch, it's a nice detail.

In the USA when there's a separate set of lanes like that just for traffic entering and exiting the highway, we call the lanes with the entrances and exits "collector lanes" because they collect traffic from multiple on-ramps then feed them onto the freeway together

The new French roads are completely wrong, wrong signs too and they miss a lot of detail. The Spanish side looks good though, although missing many signs too when you compare it to street view.

The truck is amazing! Great sound, design! Awesome work! Nice video! Question, since I updated the game (so I can have the new renault) v1.40.2, all work so slow, take too long to load steam and the game. And during driving freeze and lag episodes, that didn't happen to the last 1.40 version. What can be the problem?

Thanks! Hmm might be the lighting improvements don't work well with your system. You'll probably have to tweak your graphics settings and lower some of the values down. Look for reflection or lighting settings and turn them down. Good luck!

Hi! I did a quick save (scroll lock default key), then later on loaded that save to get back and take a screenshot. It doesn't work on world of trucks contracts, though.

Your truck is probably not fully compatible with 1.40. If you're driving the 4 series, mods list link in the video description should have a link to the detailed instructions. Good luck!

Hey Clumsy, nice video. I can really recommend you to try this for much better MSAA provided by Nvidia instead of the built-in MSAA of SCS: roextended.ro/forum/viewtopic.php?f=19&t=1000. Vanilla looks a lot better on my rig after this.

Thanks! Yes, exactly. I use these NPI tweaks for all my videos (except this one), as scs requested to not use any mods during early access. It's not technically a mod, but I wanted to show how it really looks without any tweaks whatsoever, too. I'm bringing back NPI now, though, since the dlc is officially released.
