Join me on another journey as I accompany asylum seekers/illegal immigrants seeking refugee camps to where they will receive tents as part of assistance programs. Experience firsthand the process of seeking shelter by new arrivals to Dublin Ireland and learn more about the support systems for refugees. Ireland is struggling with an increase in refugees and asylum seekers numbers (some we know are unvetted and undocumented), while we no longer look after our own homeless, many of whom are dying on the streets. (See playlist). This is not an opinion. This is a fact. Some would say Ireland is full. There are 14k Irish homeless, 4k of which are children.
As frustrations build among the people of Ireland who see the influx, we allow our own remain in emergency accommodation and unsafe hostels. My only aim in posting this video is to document the harsh conditions and show the reality of Dublin without the veneer the media tend to gloss it over with as I learn about the struggles faced by asylum seekers and the homeless in Dublin Ireland.
In Ireland, there is an anti-immigration backlash and a rising anti-immigration movement as a result of issues such as the Rwanda Bill, illegal immigrants arriving without passports, and unvetted migrants. We know approximately 85% of those seeking asylum are unvetted and we know that the quantities coming from countries that are not at war are economic migrants. We fear the non-stop buses from Belfast open border as a result of the Rwanda bill

The worst part is that it is our own government destroying Ireland. They do not see the problem with dumping large amounts of male so-called migrants into the small communities. Any other country would look on a rise to over 20% of immigrants into the country with no intent of integration as a blatant invasion. Not only does the government ridicule and call its population derogatory names, but they also fully support the invasion. I can tell you, most people didn't research their candidates properly or at all, and assumed that if someone is independent, that they're against this carry on. The anti immigration crowd were killed by transfers, and most people don't know how the transfer system works. There was some headway made, and I believe that the numbers are there, but education on our voting system needs to happen, and people need to know what platforms their candidates are running on.

I know at least one person who wanted to vote for Sinn Féin, because he assumed that they were anti mass-immigration. I can see why a person would assume an independent was anti, because sure if they were for it wouldn't they only be in one of the parties. It's just assumptions, based on some sort of logic from past experience. I'll admit to being a news junkie, and I consume to hours of news every day, from a whole bunch of places, but my job allows me that ability, and not everyone has a similar circumstance. I know Gript tried, but it wasn't enough unfortunately, and McGurk wants to be taken seriously by people who will never respect him. Really what I believe needs to happen is someone with time on their hands, to do proper night-watch on the politicians. This person needs the time, and the drive, and to be completely non partisan. Right now, it's a disparate group of people who are trying, and they do care, but aren't particularly good at it in a meaningful way, culturally. A little direction, and we have the ability to turn a breeze into a tornado. This comment is becoming massive, so I'll make one last point. There are some hard truths to be had. We need someone who can counter points quickly, and using their logic. The Socratic Method and an efficient vocabulary is the best gun in an argument, and knowing the other side is the best ammunition, and if a charismatic personality has those two things, we're on course.

As the undocumented foreign men arrive daily in Dublin they are met by an army of NGOs, and they are instructed not to talk to anyone who asks questions. Some of them can be extremely hostile, as seen on several channels including this one KZbinr Andy Ngo was speaking to men in the tents when he was interrupted by a woman who told the foreign men not to talk to him (one asylum seeker shouted at him to "go back to China"). Other people attempting to speak to the foreign men are blocked by the Gardaí and even by the IPO staff

@bogtrotterEringobrach we would sat a couple of euro as I think most of Europe would. The fact that it just rolls off his tongue so often seems to me that is his custom. So yes, I do think he is from the UK. It is just an observation. I have no objection to legal emigration but do have a problem with illegal immigrants. There are people and groups who do actually help others move from the UK to Ireland legaly. Observations and opinions.

An Irish lady told me in the UK yesterday that her family all live in Dublin. Her neices darent go out into town or locally at night because of these illegal vermin. Theyve been followed, chatted up and had sexual things said to them by these lot. They are scared to death. My God, this is a serious safety and security risk to all Irish citizens. 🤬🤬🤬

I was homeless for 9 weeks of 2023; it was a huge wake up that I change now or I'm done. It's so easy to see that once you've entered homelessness, it's incredibly hard to get back on your feet (I was lucky to have some willing to forgive), but so many people see it as expected, not just accepted, to shun and belittle the homeless. Volunteer. See those these people as people not just "they, the homeless" and avoid blanket scapegoats like "immigrants, the government" etc These videos, bogtrotter, are a brilliant way of getting people thinking, talking and hopefully doing something.
