That last breakdown was straight up DeadVectors/Sentinels vibes and I loved it. Would have loved to hear more of those style of vocals throughout the rest of the song. I was a bit worried about losing Dan but this is a good fit for the new direction of the band.

Dan is a top tier vocalist, but after seeing EE twice now with Travis (and enjoying his other work), I knew they were in good hands with him. However, this song absolutely destroyed those expectations. This isn't just great work, it's one of their best tracks they've ever released. And that's after their best album just dropped 6 months ago. Didn't think I'd be this excited about EE all over again so quickly. Can't wait for more.

You aren't raking in thousands from stuff like this when you're a part of a band- even at a size like this, people still get side jobs or at the very least, part-time gigs that are flexible with tour schedules. KZbinrs will consistently upload, network with other creators, and even do livestreams on places like Twitch and earn extra income from that. Bands like this are not doing that, they upload music to their channels and leave it at that, maybe a couple extra but they aren't consistenly uploading and doing new things to keep up with the changing algorithim. You can't compare the two, when they're objectively different.

must admit when I saw them the second time live and it was Travis and not Dan, I was a little upset but being open minded to idea to giving another vocalist a chance, I'm not disappointed in the slightest. Whati enjoy the most out of this is the fact that Travis is using his unique vocals and style to work with how EE plays and not trying to mimic Dan's vocals. This song is worth waiting for the new album to drop, my ears will bleed with happiness and begging for more.

From what I've noticed, that's Gabe's signature downpitch combination. Two pitches that sounded like two guitars being played together, but not panned apart for a more dissonant effect. He also did that in Blood & Teeth (C1/C#1, followed by A0/A#0 and G#0/A0).
