Not really a fan of the screaming during the choruses, let the instruments bang for a little bit. There was literally no gap between the vocals at all in this song. If you’re an older metal head you probably grew up with old school death metal so let me recommend you a few modern bands that pay homage to that style. Witchvomit, Blood Incantation, Entrails, and Artificial brain.

Deathcore sub genres are always great to me because no matter what people think about deathcore, it’s usually either highly-skilled musicianship or it’s full of those grooves you can just feel in your soul. I personally like experimental/proggy deathcore bands such as Rings Of Saturn or Born Of Osiris.
