On a the seashore right now. I agree with most of what you said. However, i think Wave Quartet jazz band at Brooklyn deserves a special mention. They are fabulous.

Not the specific days as those may change, but generally they will do a formal (dress your best), white parties, 70s-80s and maybe a snow.
