I'm guilty .Used too cut commercials out of recordings back then too.Blank tapes were not cheap then.When tape got cheap like a $1.50 or less I kept the commercials intact with the show.

I’ve wondered why this was recorded for the purpose of keeping to begin with though. It’s mainly good to have now for its historical aspect, and keeping the commercials would have enhanced that. This isn’t too big a loss since I have many other recordings from this time with commercials intact but it’s still frustrating.
