ET’s Matt Cohen video chatted with Jared Padalecki and Jensen Ackles about returning from quarantine to film the final episodes of ‘Supernatural,’ and what it was like saying goodbye to their characters, the Winchester brothers after 15 seasons. I love how humble they remain. Both said how gratefull they are for the new things they will be doing. Jensen even mentioning "I can't compete with that" when talking about the other actors going for the role on The Boys. I am gonna miss all my boys so much, this has been 15 years of my life. During the course of this show I have lost loved ones (My beloved mother) and friends. I have had surgeries, I have laughed, cried, and watched the world come apart at the seams. Through every bit of it, the highs & lows, I've had The Winchesters at my back. I'll miss it. I'm 27 and I've been watching the show from the beginning. I was 12 when it started and it got me through some of that teenage emotional stuff. I'm sad it's over but also kind of happy because for me I finished high school with it, I went through college with it and it's time to start a new chapter. You know a show is good when they cancel on their own because they feel like it. The ratings were so good it could've webt another 5 seasons but I agree that its time. I can see this show being rebooted with new characters and Sam and Dean being brought back to life even for like 2 episodes, fans will still be pleased. They'd be dumb not to make a spinoff. This was a veru successful show, I can only imagine how much money theyd make. Been one hell of a ride you guys. Best of luck to yall Jensen & Jared on your future endeavors. The ratings weren’t *that* good. They kept it on mainly because syndication and merchandise makes them a profit. But the ratings have been below average for a while now. Even still, the president of the CW said he’d keep the show on as long as Jared and Jensen want to continue to do it.

Jensen actually had a dream about how the show would end. It is kind of sad though. Jensen said he dreamt the show would end with Sam dying and there was no way of bringing him back. He drives out to the middle of nowhere, surrounded by corn fields. In the distance, he sees a motorcyclist approaching him. The motorcyclist meets up with Dean, does not take his helmet off. Dean gives the motorcyclist keys to the Impala and Jensen gets the motorcycle keys. The Impala takes off, leaving Dean with the motorcycle, since Dean does not need the passenger seat anymore.

I started watching while season 4 was airing, went back and bought seasons 1-3 on dvd, then season 4 on dvd and caught up very quickly. I then watched season 5 live and have been with them ever since. I’ve turned my brother into a huge fan, and then my Dad. It’s been an amazing ride and I’m not ready for it to end. These two gentlemen have poured their blood sweat and tears into Sam and Dean and I thank them wholeheartedly for it.
