I think Jeremiah is good for Belly for many reasons. Supporting your partner is very important, which the entire cast agrees makes him the smart choice for Belly at this time. However they miss out on other qualities. They are best friends. Belly and Jeremiah get along so naturally and enjoy lots of the same things. I think it's easier for them to be happy together. Don't get me wrong, I don't think Conrad is a bad choice either. They were written this way to mess with readers, lol. I think in the end it all depends on who Belly will grow to be. Stages of your life changes things, yourself, how you view the world and what you want in life. This will all change for her. I like Jeremiah, I think he's good for her. It all depends how they're relationship develops.

Conrad brings out a more mature person in Belly, she wants to be grown up and smart around him. He does know her so well he doesn't even have to think about it. They do want the same things from life. They do cherish their families and want to have the same in the future. Especially Conrad will want to have a loving family after everything wen down with his Mum & dad. He would always cherish Belly later on and make sure she was happy. But yes I guess it does depend of the stages they are in. For now I think Belly and Jere deserve some happy times, Conrad needs to get away to heal and grow. Susannah and Adam were Jeremiah’s parents too, so you could easily say that Jeremiah would want a loving family as much as you think Conrad would. Plus, neither Belly or Conrad have said that they want a loving family in the future, so that whole part doesn’t even make any sense.

Based on the books, I think Jeremiah and Belly were right for each other during the time they were together. Meaning that they supported each other through 2 years of college and got to experience their "young love." Not saying the concept of young love is a bad thing at all, it's such a beautiful thing to experience. However, Belly needed to grow up and mature and live life to be ready to commit to Conrad. Conrad def needed to do some healing and maturing as well but that is what makes their love so meaningful at the end of the books. Conrad ends up waiting for her and then they come together when they are both their best selves to get married. As for the show, some parts of each relationship, team jelly and team bonrad, are definitely written differently. But that is what makes for good tv and why we all love watching so much. Jenny knows how to keep us on our toes. I have always rooted for Conrad and Belly, but after analyzing the show more (bc I'm a nerd) I think I'm understanding the "team belly" side and rooting for however Jenny decides to end the show. I can't wait for season 3!! ok, my novel is over now haha.

As an adult, it's very clear to me that Belly has a huge connection with Conrad and that she wanted them to be able to be together. But the characters are very young, going through difficult times, especially Conrad who has just lost his mother. I think it's good that the characters are able to grow and develop before they get together. Because that's how it is in real life too, if you skip this process the relationship becomes self-destructive.

Also, thank you for this comment, cause all the comment sections I've seen so far set me off to trade my sleep for the two seasons of this. I was in shock, utter shock, like, why people even have this arguement going on like it isn't clear the only person Belly can be in a fair relationship with is Conrad because all the others just have random crushes on her and she decides that it is nice to try a new thing. Like, she is literally not good for Jere, so the "Jere's good for her (aT tHe MoMeNt)" doesn't make any sense. Like, it's exactly what Steven said "Conrad challenges her". Jere's only in on it for now because he's always had the "I'm the smaller brother" syndrome and the fact he saw Belly's pretty now and all that (and he also cares, just ike she does, but it still is not the same, 'cause he wants to be with her and she chooses him, 'cause he's the safe option). And the fact that the only JellyTeam person out there is Belly's best friend whose dating strategy is "care less than the other person, so you don't get you heart broke" (I love Taylor, but is she for real?), and jyst EVERYBODY else close to her (and not so close) notices her and Conrad. Not really, she spelled out that she wanted Jer before Conrad took back his love for her. If your making the argument of because he was distant from her the whole season, so it made her go to Jer I would disagree. In the end I think this is best for Belly. Conrad knows her better and understands her since so long. You can always feel that connection and true love between them - the concept of love is portrayed by them both beautifully. Jer suddenly pursued belly, and it felt so unnatural and forced and maybe out of jealousy with his brother or more of a platonic relationship. Whilst, conrad always longed for her. Yes, he did withdraw a lot of times, but I understand that he was keeping smth within himself, and the way he deals with grief is different to jer. Conrad needs therapy, and belly needs to like him out of her idea of how perfect she always thought of him to be. Sometimes, it feels like she forgets he's grieving and doesn't try to understand him much even when he's asking for time and having panic attacks.

I just hate belly.Because in these 2 seoson belly always had some one around her when she is hurt at first she was in love with connie but he wasn't so she go with cam and then connie and belly almost kissed so she broke up with him and then connie donnt want to be with her (beacuse of his mom )and when jere express his feelings she kissed him and then Connie express his feelings she kissed him where jere was already hurt knowing about her mother's condition she hurt him even more . In s2 she did the same at last when connie tells her that he didn't mean it but they knows that he was lying it was in his face then jere hugs her and console her but there was no one for connie.That hug was deserved for connie.Everytime there will be anyone for belly but no one for the boys.I really hope that the boys stood up for each other in s3 and Iam on the team of fishers.Belly really don't deserve any of them!!

I just want to put this put there: Jeremiah and Conrad were being the biggest pick me's this season and it got on my nerves. They were both lurking around her trying to get her to notice them and then got mad when she finally chose. Last season it was Conrad and this season, Jeremiah. To me, it's less about her and more about sibling rivalry. Like they're fighting for the love of a parent or something.
