'The Real Housewives of Orange County' star Katie Ginella weighs in on her freshman run so far, airing Thursdays on Bravo. The season 18 rookie responds to co-star Heather Dubrow's digs at her over Katie's claim that Heather did call the paparazzi on herself to stage a photoshoot at Disneyland. Katie explains why she's standing firm in the belief and offers an update on where she and Heather stand (or don't) currently. Plus, she clears up how and why she joined 'Real Housewives,' gushing over her friendships with Gina Kirschenheiter, Sutton Stracke and Jenn Pedranti. Katie also opens up about her 'modern family' and sharing her kids' stories on TV. 'RHOC' also streams on Peacock, with episodes debuting the day after they air on Bravo.

Heather has once commented on Braunwyn hiring the paparazzi by saying “there’s no paparazzi in the OC unless you call them over here”, now she wants to deny that she called the paparazzi to Disneyland? The math obviously isn’t mathing here since Disneyland is also in the OC

You can't choose how someone will respond when you attack their character on a national television platform. This didn't fall into this woman's lap: she took the initiative to start a disparaging rumor about someone in her new friend group for screen time. Whoever this lady is, she came in waaaaay too hot with a shaky attempt at a receipt at best. What she has is hearsay from a third party with no smoking gun, and it makes her look thirsty for a storyline. It's not exactly the best way to introduce yourself to viewers and sway them into believing you have a brand worth investing in outside the show, but good luck.

Do I believe Katie? No. Do I think she thought about how to think about answering this question? Yes. Do I like her? No Do I care to see her back next season? No and No. I think after hearing this lie of the paparazzi story..... I don't care to continue and watch anymore. Her Once Upon a TikTok story. YAWNNNNN And also, this is not Proof of asking your so called friend. Did Heather call the paparazzi? Yes. That is NOT PROOF.. Showing a screen shot of Heather asking for the paparazzi is Proof.

I think the only reason it appears she came in so hot is because of Heather's own friends. They encouraged it, they agreed and they even cheered it. The only thing is they failed to mention their actions when telling Katie's.

Honestly, I wouldn’t ever want to be friends with Heather. She’s soooo obvious being fake, and I don’t effe with people like her. Her husband Terry is just as bad at the fakery as she is! They literally think everybody is so beneath them and that they’re way more important than they really are! Humbled is something they will never understand the meaning of.

So last season for this thirsty nobody. Heather was the victim of a full gang up and she survived and came put on top, whatever you think of Heather, she doesnt pretend to be someone she's not and she's not a liar and not desperate... unlike Katie

Those pics are 100% staged. whether heather had her PR team call paps(hence she can swear on her kids lives) or she had somebody she knows take them & then sent them to a contcat she has in the media. They do have these contacts. Media wants stories& celebs want publicity. Its mutually beneficial.

Katie definitely screwed herself over when she decided this was going to be her storyline. However, knowing Heather, she is going to blow this situation way out of proportion and will make sure to humiliate and disgrace Katie. Which to me, is a bit much. Heather has done it to Shannon, and several others. She will put you down several times before SHE decides its time to move on. & personally, I think that is BS, because when it comes to Tamra she has no issues. She was more upset with Gina, even though Gina told Katie not to mention anything...than she was at Tamra glouting at Katie revealing this.

Heather and Terry never contacted the paps, but the couple did pose for the cameras obviously. They knew they were there and so they both played it up for the cameras. Cheesy poses of course lol

Katie does not come across as anything but thirsty to me - and she is trying WAY too hard to have beef with Heather. So we have what? An anonymous source saying something inconsequential (someone maybe called the paps. Smart money is on Terry or her team - she may not even have known) happened in a text message. A failed tag in social media. Heather didn’t recognize Katie from having glanced at her instagram. Heather was curious about Katie and asked a mutual friend about her because she knew Katie would join the show. Well, call the police! What am I missing here? This is absolutely nothing. Katie is grasping and flailing. Katie then still goes on a gossip-tour to spread her slander to anyone who knows Heather. Seems to me like it’s really Katie - of course she watched last season before going on it, she’s not an idiot! - who is the one digging for dirt on Heather. Can we really blame Heather for not wanting to get to know Katie now? I know I wouldn’t. Sorry, but not liking Heather does not automatically make Katie right. Katie looks like a fool now.

I bet she told Producers in interviews that she had this dirt on Heather and the producers brought her on to mess with Heather and stir it up. Just like how Monica Garcia claims she told Producers about Reality Von Tease, and the chick that went to jail for fraud. Anytime they bring a newbie on now we should assume they told producers what they would stir up.

Apparently their are alot of sources that are sneaking around bts and their other that are watching your every moves ppl are manipulative and you can like you have to find out thing buy talking to girlfriends or boyfriend it depends on who you hang around yourself. it not best to be blind there has to be a reason why this show is continuing at times I forget how cali can be manipulative like it is you have to be right with in yourself every one is looking to tear down your spirits and you have to find that healthy medium between fact and fiction it's a sitcom some of the things are not always true.

I am Team Heather. However, Katie does have some good solo confessionals. Yet, her actual scenes in the show are just boring & contrived. Not a great fit for a Real Housewife. She's a one & done.
