That's actually exactly what happened--and they finally admitted it in a recent interview 😂 They broke up before getting engaged because they had been together for about 4 years and she had done all these wifely things and Nick was still refusing to marry her. She said she gave him an ultimatum and he left lol Then he realized after trying to date another woman that she was the best he was going to get if he wanted kids by the time he was 40 (because he couldn't get the actual love of his life back so what else was he to do, ya know?). So ultimately, he's only with her because he couldn't get Jessica back and wanted to fulfill his dream of having a family. It's pretty sad when you look at it objectively, but that's Vanessa's karma for being all over Nick when he would come on TRL to promote his stuff while still being married Jessica. She clearly was willing to take him in any form she could get him. Even if it was him doing it begrudgingly.

Well she used her flirty and baby sexy vibe like Paris Hilton to get him to go on a date with her to the movies. Little did he know, Kim was just trying to make a name for herself in that Hollywood D celebrity type culture, Just like Paris. Kim also wanted to be on the hills and you can see her in a couple scenes for a hot second. Anyway, Nick Lachey and Kim went to a movie. Kim called the paparazzi quietly before hand to let them know what they were doing and when they would be leaving the theatre. Well Nick didnt like that and he was pissed the Eff off at her. He ditched her after that. Part of me understands his reservations, but at the same time, when I see his wifes emotional pain . I feel there is something deeper going on in with there relationship , and especially with Nick!! HE has a hidden side he doesnt want anyone to see, and i am an empath. Its not a good side i feel. I love this couple they're working on things and NOT just giving up. Marriage is work, give and take, communication, being there through the good and bad times. When you love each other, you definitely need communication to get through things, if you don't communicate with your husband or wife its going to turn ugly and someone will shut down their emotions and not want to talk. You have to be present and patient with each other. You also have to have date night at least once a week and not talk about the kids, its all about the both of you, have fun, laughter, get romantic so your marriage doesn't end. Love and marriage is hard work, but if you love each other so much and can't imagine anyone else other than the person who you are with, its worth fighting for. Again communication is the big key.
