I really wish the MCU was going to use Hulkling in their new Young Avengers based stuff instead of Skar. Deleting the Hulking Wiccan story from the MCU is a tragedy given that they were the first gay teen couple in comics that were openly out of the closet from the very first comic book, and there was a fight just to get that to happen because Marvel had initially insisted Teddy be a female character, but the writer refused. Their relationship has been iconic. The ultimate power couple, and MCU about to do them dirty, just to shove Skar into the mix.

That's a valid concern. That version of Captain Marvel never existed in the MCU timeline, and Carol got a different origin story because of it, so even if they do use Hulking instead of Skar for the Young Avengers, his entire origin story is going to have to be re-written, and his entire comic book story with the Kree and Skrull, is going to have to be completely thrown out, and changed to fit the new MCU changes to the Kree, the Skrull, and the lack of his father ever having existed in the first place.

says who?? teddy is literally an alien, him being white has no actual bearing on what kind of character he is - the only reason that happens in the comics is because his "mom" simply tries to blend in - casting a biracial actor would arguably be more appropriate for a half-breed character... anyway it's not even confirmed that eddie is or is not hulkling, all we know is that it was jac schaeffer's original intention for him to be and that he has already occupied teddy's storyline so writing it out would make their dynamic as characters quite different
