I recommend red, because it’s a nice pop of colour and easy to match too! But depends on your clothes/ outfit, pink is also a nice option if you tend to wear white/cream colour outfit.

Pale pink is a good neutral these days. When I buy designer bags I usually go for color as I feel that it is easy to buy black bags, but it is the colors that are seasonal. That is just my personal preference :-)

If you’re not used to too much colour, may I suggest cool versions of deep navy, dark forest green, deep charcoal, darkest taupe or dark burgundy. They are all very close to black and can be worn very well with all-black outfits. These colors work especially well if you are a Soft Summer, Soft Winter or Winter.

hey! For the gucci bag I think you should send it to bedos leather works ( he has an youtube channel with some awesome bag repairs) and ask him to raplace all the leather pieces. He could make the two leather stripes continuous, without the d ring (and without the straps obviously). He could salvage the d rings and place them in the side of the bag as you wish and create a costum strap with the same leather. You should watch a recent video on his channel of a LV keppall!! It will take long and it will be expensive but I'm sure the service will meet the sentimental value of the bag, and it will look proper!!!

For sure remove the top handles and loop a crossbody strap. You can use a leather treatment in a brown color to color the corners yourself and try to do that before you have it professionally restored :).

Beautifully edited collection! Prada bags sadly have some of the worst resale value but wishing you luck with finding a new home for the bags that no longer work for you! I purchased a Celine box classic pre-loved two years ago in Ivory goatskin and am finding myself wanting more. Incredible craftsmanship and an amazing silhouette that compliments and elevates so many looks!

For the Gucci, you might consider having the leather updated to a nice tasteful soft pink. I am generally not a fan of recolouring handbags, but it would just be the leather features on that one, and if you need to have the leather restored anyway, why not? It would be a great gift for your daughter either way, but a nice tasteful pink on the leather might update the look of the entire bag to more contemporary, but lasting, tastes. Thanks for the vids! hello catwalk city they’re amazing, the adjuster ball is like gold and has a CC on it and the extra chain when you make it shorter hangs over so lovely. Solves the problem of doubling the strap on the minis and ruining the leather on the flap!!

I got one last Christmas and it's a perfect size and the empriente leather is luxurious and comes in a variety of colors. Used to work for Prada 1998 to 2008. A few years ago I went to a grand opening of a Coach outlet and there was almost an exact copy of a black with red roses print that Prada had done, mostly on RTW, in 2006 or 2007. It was so weird for me to see it all over Coach styles lol. I don’t think most people would’ve noticed how identical it looked as roses are kind of a universal design but since I worked for Prada and had adored that season I could tell it was no coincidence.
