I've watched this video so many times for the last (God knows how many years). I am Mesmerized, intrigued, interested, and now, I am motivated. This is art. Thank you so much for sharing. 🤗

Watching the hands of a skilled craftsman at work is fascinating to me. Doesn't even really matter what it is. I'm glad that deliberate, skilled handwork hasn't totally disappeared. Would love to have even a thimble-full of the talent that this gentleman has!

Nice video. What type of chuck is used on the press that allows for the rectangular post of the punching chisel to be held in it?

If I were to use stingray, would I just use it as an overlay? It seems like it would be a bad structural material for this. I’d like to find a way to use stingray. Great video 👍🏻 definitely subscribing.

I respect handmade custom straps, however I never liked the angled stitching pattern that always seems to go with it. Just looks off to me. High quality factory leather straps have nice straight stitching and small stitch holes that just look so much cleaner :(

There's are no high quality factory straps. Saddle stitch is the only way to go for premium products. This straps are all but premium.

Why are your hands so beat? You restoring an old rust bucket or something?
@Strapcode3 жыл бұрын
Sorry, can you clarify your question?
@therealblurrybarber3 жыл бұрын
@@Strapcode sorry it wasn't actually a question. I was making a joke (failed attempt obviously) about how beat up your hands look. As if you were a mechanic. Restoring an old car. Didn't mean anything negative by it. Beat up hands command a certain respect. It says that you use them. Youre not afraid to get them dirty. I think I was half asleep when I wrote that failed attempt at comedy. I didn't realize leather craft was so tough on the hands
