I love you show what you declutter and not what you keep, what would be interesting for me is why you bought those clothes in first place, whit what intentions. Cause aiming for minimalism is for me not buying stuff in first place so it feels like nice lesson learnt talking about intention and how it not worked out.

I did this a little over a week ago and ended up donating about 3/4 of my clothing total. It went from 6 drawers to 2, and about 1/3 of the closet! I love this process, and minimalizing overall.

You always have the softest, coziest sweaters! Kind of sad to see them put away, but glad spring is coming. I am much more content with my wardrobe after going to a uniform of only shades of pink, blue, and white. I also became choosy about natural fibers and now look and feel better in what I wear.

During the spring I have to keep both types of clothing available. Here in the Midwest we'll have temps up in the mid 70° range one week and the next week it will snow and be like 20° I call it whiplash weather.

hi!! my favorite cardigans that i have right now are my lululemon ones!! they're thick, comfortable, and lululemon will take care of any seam repairs that you might need if you keep them forever!

I've been combing through my clothing a lot lately. Last declutter, I got rid of a good sized bag - around 15-20 items. I sold a few items, donated the rest! It felt amazing to get rid of some things.

Thank you Ashlynne once again for motivating me!! I usually find it difficult to let go of things and clothes (I get very sentimental). I just splurged for my first sustainable black cashmere cardigan. I purchased the Naadam boyfriend cardigan...first in small but exchanged for an Xsmall. I'm 5'6" and 130 lbs. and wanted it more fitted for warmth.

I moved from a country where we had proper seasons to Uk where you vcn wear your thickest jumper to a tank top in 1 day so I find it a lot harder to separate my winter and summer clother as I tend to use a mixture of both. I recently did a declutter and finallly managed to donate some dresses I just haven't worn in ages...

I usually declutter when I do my closet switchover but It's still pretty cool in Nova Scotia so my switchovers are done in a couple of stages. So far this month, I have weeded out nearly a full recycling bag worth of clothing between my preteen, teenager and myself. The 16 year old isn't so sure if 5 pairs of skateboarding pants are enough though, lol.

I'm trying to make a point of getting to the end of the season and then getting rid of anything I didn't wear for that season. It's pretty obvious to me then what I haven't worn. I'm in Australia, so switching from summer to winter at the moment, my fave time of year as I'm a jacket person and have too many jackets which are so hard to declutter. Recently sold half my yoga pants collection and also selling some jeans and a jackets.

Haven't changed over to warm clothes yet, we have been having random snow and 30-50 degree weather. Can't wait for warmer days 😂 I'm planning to move to a warmer climate this year and excited about it but I'm sure I'll need to totally overhaul my wardrobe in order to survive in a warmer place.

So funny. I opened yt to pop something on while I put away the hanging clothes from my own closet video (coming in the next couple days)! What started as a "me-made minimalist wardrobe tour" ended with me getting rid of 18 garments! (And I purge all the time!). Feels so good to have it organized and fresh again. Touching every piece really is a fantastic way to connect and evaluate.

Hi Ashlynne (btw love your name) thanks really enjoyed watching & especially your reason for each item you decluttered. 💖 I keep all my clothes out all year round so no storing away for me - left sided wardrobe summer & right sided winter. Im 7 mo pregnant right now and almost none of my clothes work for me anymore and it feels like they are nothing but clutter! However, I will not be pregnant forever and definitely don’t think it’s wise to get rid of all my non-maternity clothes😅😅 planning to put all the things that don’t work away like out of season clothes, if I am able to🙂

Love this video. Where did you get the baskets for your underwear and socks? They are so cute. Also where did you get your hanging storage for folding clothes. I've had a few of those in the past and they just basically fell apart because they weren't strong enough yours looks very sturdy and like you've had it for a long time

Hi! Great video and just in time because I was about to go through my closet again. I have a question though, do you have any tips for making a woolen sweater softer? I’m like you in terms of having to have clothes super comfortable because otherwise I just end up not wearing them, however I absolutely love this super warm woolen sweater that I bought this year on vinted. Unfortunately it’s very itchy and I don’t know how to deal with it. I wear it with a long sleeve blouse underneath but it’s still a pain. Any ideas?

Hi so I don't have any recommendations personally, but maybe just look it up? I searched here on YT and found some videos, in general I like fashion tips I find on here. Besides, a quick Google search is often the way to go😉 But I feel you, my problem is that my sweaters are always a bit too small after washing them a few times😥
