Story 1: The old boss is basically a Deconstructed Character Archetype of the Mean Boss. Story 5: The “friend” is a male homewrecker with a weird fetish for older engaged and married women. Aside from being an asshole, I think he needs some form of therapy.

The serial house breaker friend story is insane! Good riddance. Who need a friend who ruin the lives of your other friends? And how many times until the OP's new wife is old enough to interest this guy? Better break of the friendship, maybe it will teach him a lesson. Also I love the last story 😂. Story 1: I hate these entitled and out of touch buffoon bosses who act like they worked for everything that was actually handed to them. If it was actually earned, they would more likely be a lot more humble. I’ve worked for handed everything bosses vs self made bosses, and self made bosses are much better for whom to work (for the most part). Glad to see what happened to OP’s entitled boss. Also, working a second job is the opposite of “lazy”, if anything it takes a lot of drive to work two jobs (I do that all the time). Story 2: Why do some step parents have to be so evil towards their step children? They knew the person that they are marrying has kids, so WHY be so resentful towards them? Story 3: The Karen is the jerk, not OP. It is NOT okay to steal, in the principle of things. If the Karen was stealing food to feed her family, maybe that could be forgivable (but still needs to face some consequences), although this wasn’t an extenuating circumstance. She’s running a con job. OP was even discreet about calling her out on that theft at first. Story 4: Not the jerk and not money hungry. OP shouldn’t get cheated by her greedy pig of a sister. If OP had taken her name off of the house before getting the money, she wouldn’t have seen a dime. Story 5: So ridiculous and stupid. OP shouldn’t have kept that person as a friend nor put up with that home wrecker behavior as long as he did, but at least he grew up (unlike his former best friend). Not cool to partake in affairs. Story 6: Not OP’s fault that the dumb client doesn’t know the most rudimentary company policy. No excuse for that guy’s behavior. Glad OP did that to him. Apparently that jerk never heard the phrase, “Don’t argue with the person who packs your parachute!”

I had a friend who stole girlfriends from his friends and slept with married women. He had to move to another state because he had poisoned the ground for himself here. Vaguely kept in touch, then nothing for a long while. Another friend tried to look him up and found he’d entered into a polyamorous relationship with a married couple. The guy got jealous of the attention my friend was getting from his wife. Guy shot him and dumped his body in the woods, but he was so bad, they found his body almost right away.

On one hand Tom is a POS, on the other hand he revealed how much these married women really loved their significant other and ended up exposing them to their husbands for the 304s they really are. It's a conundrum, what he did was slimy and gross and he should be condemned for it but you can't really argue the fact that he did these husbands a service And allow them to divorce their soon to be cheating wives a lot sooner then later. It's all a mess.
