Please bare with me in this video as I am processing my own thoughts in real time when I record 😂 but I am trying to say that when we are new in Christ (which if you accepted Jesus then you are) this is your new self. The old has passed away. I know I’m also bringing genesis into it with how we were originally created to be and then the fall happened but then Jesus saved us and here we are - new creations 🥰

That statement about your life not being you own when you become a Christian. I needed to hear that

Recently, I truly realized that I am not self-sufficient. It was a hard pill to swallow, but also a weight off my shoulders. Just knowing that God is the one who truly lifts us up is incredible. I’m eternally grateful for it.

Thank you for 'showing up' to this video in such a real way. Even Christians have good, bad, and 'meh' days! I'm having a mixed day myself. Such a needed reminder that our God is a good, good Father! ❤️😊 He is *holy* and also very approachable at the same time! How amazing that He wants a personal relationship with us. Amen. 🙏

Thank you for the encouragement Sarah, I appreciate you! I know you said you not feeling great today, I feel you, we all have those days every now and then. Sometimes when I'm having one of those days I just say to the Lord 'Lord I'm not feeling great right now but help me to not live by my feelings but by my faith' And my faith says... I am the beloved of the Lord, then one He has pursued, the one who loves me more than I could ever love Him. The One who would leave the 99 sheep and search out just for me. Not by your power or by your might but by His Spirit Sarah. The Holy Spirit will empower you. Thank you for your chanal and for being such a blessing( and Adam) to me and to the body of Christ. Much Love♥️

I’ve been reading that devotional for awhile now and recently read this one and felt so convicted. It’s probably one of my biggest weaknesses: entitlement. In reality I don’t deserve Grace, let alone a perfect life. More important than anything I have in this life is closeness with God and the painful process of letting him change me to look more like Love. Thank you for this reminder.

Hi Sarah, I was so blessed by you sharing your thoughts and feelings and being open and honest and vulnerable with us. It means that we can pray for you but also there will be others who will identify with you and be encouraged that they can just be themselves and turn up even if they’re not feeling great. Even though you were having a difficult day, or not a good day, and I wasn’t either well earlier on anyway - the feeling I got as I was sitting here listening to you speak and teach, was of being completely at peace, and refreshed. Now how wonderful is that, that Jesus can use you even when you feel weak and vulnerable and not really up for it. Thank you so much, Sarah It is difficult to turn up when you’re not feeling great, because you don’t really want to and you think other people will be critical and uncaring, which so often they are.But it’s time that we came around each other in love, and supported and encouraged one another as well as prayed for each other. I am tired of being around plastic Christians who only want to put on a mask to please everyone else and to hide what they don’t want others to see. It’s generally what most people do, but I can’t do it. Sending you a big hug and lots of love to you both God bless. 🎉🙂💟 It says this in Romans chapter 12: Therefore, I urge you, brothers, in view of gods mercy, to offer your bodies as living sacrifices, holy and pleasing to God - this is your spiritual act of worship. Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what gods will is - his good, pleasing and perfect will. Romans chapter 1-2 So sorry about the party popper LOL I’ve just listened through to this message again on the audio, and didn’t notice the party popper until now, which seems a little inappropriate given the circumstances. Whoops, really sorry, Sarah I don’t know how to remove it

Hi Sarah, Thank you for putting your and Adam's testimony here. I had lost hope for a long time that I would ever have a family and didn't think I would ever get married due to the nature of my work/ work schedule, even though I was seeking the Lord constantly in this area of my life. I watched your testimony about a year ago and it gave me hope! In May I met my husband, in August we got married. A couple of days after I had met him, I sent him your testimony and said I loved it, but I never thought I could marry someone only after 3 months of meeting them... well, here we are 😂 “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight” "For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Then you will call on me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you." I love you Jesus!!!

This is an inspiring word. I love how the book you were reading touched on the two lies us humans are told; autonomy and self-sufficiency. This raised a question for me that I've been battling internally. How would you (or the author of the book) best explain how successful people that live their lives as unbelievers are sustaining themselves, even in separation of God?

John 16:23 Ye shall ask the Father in my name (Jesus). Now, under the New Covenant, Jesus is not only our sacrifice, but also our representative. He is making our case before God, interceding on our behalf (Hebrews 7:25).

Love must be sincere. Hate what is evil; cling to what is good. Be devoted to one another in brotherly love. Honour one another above yourselves. Romans chapter 12 verses 9-10 V15 - rejoice with those who rejoice; Mourn with those who mourn. 🥰🥲😔😩😢😭 💒
