My cousin asked this girl out when they were in high school, someone he had wanted to ask out for a long time. On the date everything went wrong, including running out of gas. He was so embarrassed he never talked to her again. Decades later my sister who was in her class was at some function and they were talking, turns out the girl remembered it was one of the best dates she had ever been on, and wished he had asked her out again. I can honestly, whole-heartedly say I'm glad I'm not a young person today. Y'all have so many more challenges in simple day-to-day life than we did. My husband and I went to the local pizza parlor for our first date in 1976. He bought the pizza and I found out that night he didn't even like pizza! We married in 1978 and stayed that way for 43 years. I lost him last year to covid. We raised 3 sons and I would definitely be urging them away from women like the one in this video. My husband and I met on a dating site, but we met at a coffee shop and then went for dinner. He lived with his parents and so did I. He was about to start school and I was working. I was very excited to meet him, and he liked me, and we clicked. Our dinner ended with a nice walk in the rain and back to the parking lot to our cars, of the pub we had dinner at. We had our first kiss and we have been together now for 11 years. Girls need to stop focusing on the material and remember that it is the man who you will be in a relationship with, not his wallet. I think she's failing to grasp the concept of "dating". The entire point of the first few dates when there is NO commitment is to determine if you get along with each other. If a guy has never met you before and doesn't know whether you're cool and put together, or a complete maniac, why should he drop $200 on a nice restaurant? Now, that being said, if they date a few times and decide to make it exclusive, then he should want to take his girlfriend to nice places sometimes and spoil her a bit. It shouldn't be all the time, but on occasion it's appropriate. Also, I'd actually prefer to see a woman without any makeup on the first date so I can see what she actually looks like. If it takes a ton of makeup to look good, that's on you. She acts like guys don't spend a ton of money on nice clothes for themselves and nice cars. As a 45yo married mom...a "cheap" first date is the way to go. She went on about the cost of everything; makeup, nails, etc...but she's going to wear all that makeup a d have her nails done regardless. Put work into the date...not money. Go to the grocery store and get picnic stuff. Put it in your own containers...then into a picnic basket (anything other than a plastic grocery bag). Grab a CLEAN blanket and head to a park. Have a picnic, go for a stroll. Talk. Get to know eachother. Effort not money.

First us men have to endure childhood shaming and bullying and keep our confidence intact. Then, we have to graduate High School and go to College. My now wife and I lived together for several years before marriage and we split the rent. After marriage we had kids she stayed home and I took the reins on everything, as was my responsibility. It wasn't really a deep discussion about it... it just seemed right and we both felt that way. I feel like if that had been an issue then she probably wasn't for me. Compatibility is just so huge... and finding someone who comes from a similar background with similar values.

Wow i admired Brandon i like how he thinks, that his wife should stay home to take care the house, norture the kids and cook 🍳 for his family. Family home cook is always the best, as what my Mom used to say "Family that prays 🙏 and eat together, stay forever ❤". This has been our family mantra for generations. My first date with my husband, he cooked and we have a picnic under the stars 🌟 🤩 ❤ it was romantic, no fancy dress, no make up just being ourselves but our conversation won't end we talked a lot which made that first date memorable.
