Great vedio sir...but can you tell me why does this happen?? Just the steps before GAP is different from glycolysis. Glycolysis convert 2atp before GAP and this is 1atp and 1nadp... Nothing else seems to differ even the substrate is same

Some organism don’t have certain enzymes that allow them to do normal glycolysis, so they do entner wich instead of taking glucose in it’s taking sugar acids and it’s also creating NADPH which is mostly found in photosynthesis

es sencillo, si conoces la glucólisis te darás cuenta de que la producción neta en esta vía es de un ATP, ya que el kdgp que decía, produce un piruvato y un G3P si mal no recuerdo, ese G3P reacciona como en la glucólisis normal, sólo que ya no podrás tener el ATP de otro G3P pork se sintetizó piruvato directamente. saludos
