See the ENTP needs to lead a conversation to something an INTP can connect with. Just random talking isn't going to entice the INTP. Get the INTP talking about space/time theory or art history, anything abstract and he'll/she'll never shut up.

People do like that for me they aren't enough intersting to have a kind of approach with them. Being smart it is also take in consideration ethic dinamics that some topics inevitabily have, and if you can't consider them it is almoast kinda usless talking to that person cause in my opinion they aren't smart enough.

I there a stereotype like that tho? I think many INTPs find ISTPs and ENTPs more relatable than INTJ or INFP. It makes sense because ISTP and ENTP has more similar cognitive functions to us Now it makes sense why back then me(INTP nerd) and class clown(an ENTP) found eachother agreeing on many things while others disagree, I didn't know mbti back then to understand it's because our personality types are similar

I think it comes from the fact that INTP and INTJ probably look quite similar for people on a first look maybe ? Much like INFP and INFJ. But that doesn't necessarely mean they will agree on many aspects. That might be a bit different in feelers case though. I have to investigate.

@@absurd3694 I've seen more of INTPs being mistyped as ENTP and ISTP..I myself was mistyped as ISTP, my guess is ones who get mistyped as INFP are people who used online tests without knowing that they're wrong most of the time It's not that difficult to find the difference between INTP and INFP, INFP are Fi Dom which is the most emotional function, and INTP are Ti Dom which is the least emotional and most logical function what means second dominant type?

My relashionship with ENTPs is pretty tough. The ones I've met are not all good, to say the least. All they do is pick on others, constantly try to prove their intellectual superiority by bringing others down and, frankly speaking, are annoying. There are some ENTPs i know that are lost in their ideas, are to busy being a class clown and are just sarcastic. This type of ENTPs is kind of cool and very interesting to hang out with. They value good puns and being lost in the metaverse. This type of ENTP is precious, they need to be protected at all cost.

I find that it really depends on the company. Some people are as chill as I am, I can chill with those people 24/7. But they're few & far between. With most people it's 3hrs a week tops.

ENTPs are truth seekers. It's why we argue. Since INTPs are literally the only people that speak our language, we don't need to argue with them. Everyone else needs to be emotionally herded into speaking normal logical words. They use logic, explore possibilities, understand the nuance of statistics and group cohesion. And they don't faff around with endless red herring chatter. We info. dump with a clear express purpose to brainstorm. And INTPs reciprocate in kind.

Entp saying I'm joking would have been an invitation to me to make similar jokes and then talk for too long if i enjoyed the convo enough (or didn't feel like there was a good way out, but then id be dazing out the convo)
