That was gorgeous - It just rose up out of nowhere, exploded, then quietly walked away.

Love your music videos, made in remote locations. You are so talented. Both the sounds and the visuals, transport me out of my living room, into another world of musical adventure far away, from everyday life. Thanks for sharing, and best wishes for your continued success.

Incredible what Hélène does with modular. It seems to me these compositions of hers are like a surfer creating his own big Kahuna everytime he gets on his board and riding it all along into the sunset .... Beautiful.

Good Day Ryan, and thanks a lot 🙏 All the vocals (my own voice), some swell fx (recorded from the modular synth), and the soundscape of the place (recorded during the first exploration, the second step of my creative process) is pre-recorded & re-injected in the system via sampler modules such as ER301, then triggered and mixed live with the rest. I also often use the Morphagene to create a "texture seat" , as well as a looper which becomes the starting point of the composition. I hope one day i'll be able to transport all the necessary equipment to these places to do full electroacoustic sessions with live vocals, traditional instruments and modular synth 🤞That's what i'm working on for my 2023 concerts 🙂 I hope it helped you to understand. Wishing you a Great Day 🙏

omg this is amazing! loved it, thank you so much ❤ Anybody knows how she makes that voice sound, is it a sample of her voice?

Yeah it's gotta be a sample playback module in her rack...maybe even more than one.

Where is the sound coming ? Is the building reverb being used? But those windowless windows does mean maybe not. Cool styles to invest for performance arts
@MAKEN0ISEMUSIC2 жыл бұрын
As far as we know, the sound you hear during the performance is the direct output of the modular system that Hélène is using. 🎶
@ish2332 жыл бұрын
@@MAKEN0ISEMUSIC neat, what module is that ?
@wadehathawaymusic2 жыл бұрын
She has described her process in the past as taking inspiration from a setting then composing, sampling, creating the patches and arranging the elements in her studio. Upon returning to the location she performs the piece live and records it through a mixing board. Apparently no overdubs nor post processing. Pretty cool.
