wow way to fuck up a podcast, asshole, with your dumb annoying murmuring right after everything goggins says right right right right right right right right right right right right right right right followed by a series of mm-hmm mm-hmm mm-hmm mm-hmm mm-hmm then at the 3 minute mark i paused, wrote this and get the fuck out
@leansephbishop43095 жыл бұрын
I think one basic point Gogging's makes , His was willing to die Basically When Your Immune to the fears of dying You can fully take the moment for the good or the bad Without caring To Unlock the Beast Whilst answering those negative question before and during Or re feeding your willingness drive Asking yourself why your doing such" If the Reason Is so Important like to the point Gogging's sees It Than you blast through Again the guys a legend no doubt

My favorite part of the interview is towards the end when Mr. Goggins says that if you don't have an answer to those negative questions in your mind, you will quit. He was willing to die in the Navy Seal Hell Week/Selection Process. That is the ultimate clap-back to negative thoughts and self-doubts.

This is so true. When he said „people lack the tools to deal with their pain“, this is so applicable to „mental illness“. Everyone has „baggage“ and whether or not a person can bare it depends on how emotionally intelligent they are

Wonderful, wonderful topic. We are unfortunately taught so much now of instant gratification and luxury that we forget the time-honored virtues of affirmation, faith, and fulfillment through struggle. The minute I stopped comparing my life to others and started seeing my struggles as a blessing - to help me grow and discover my strength - the world flipped upside down! Thanks again 🙏🏼

This speech isn't possible without this guy while other people complains about his behavior. If you can't concentrate to something then most probably the problem is you.
Found David Goggins through Joe Rogan. This was a great interview. Lots to learn from him.

If you decide to become a Navy Seal you first have to prepare mentally and then physically during those long periods of intense training. If for a second you doubt your decision for being a navy seal then you have already failed. You have to go all the way no matter what.

This dude and CT Fletcher somehow made me go from very motivated to disgustingly driven. I don't even know how, but I find a way to top myself every week. I got 15 hard leg workouts a week 5 hard ab workouts a week and each week I pick one thing to work on out of about 5 or 6 things but I want like a pro soccer players body, legs like a fuckin horse, abs I could wash laundry on and still skinny but do enough with arms and back and shoulders and shit to look like I don't skip them lol. I got a long way to go, but I started slow about 1 1/2 years ago. As time went on I keep amping it up and this week is already starting off as my best week yet. Anyone that needs motivation, just know that you CAN do it. I actually have fuckin leg muscles. Never ever thought it was possible and it's taken about 18 months but I have a good start. It ain't gonna happen over night, but remember every single time you do enough to make something hurt, you're on your way. Imagine trying to pump up a giant big ass dump truck tire with a bicycle pump. It's gonna fucking take FOREVER, but every pump you push, you're one closer to your goal. Go get it mother fuckers.

What do you do for physical pain. I'm about to start over in a 4 year program at 36 to become a electric powerline lineman, but I have to start as a groundman/helper which involves physical labor chainsaws, lifting etc and I have back, leg, and neck pain, also something called DOMS Delayed Onset Muscle soreness which tortured me in the fire academy. It gets so bad that I can't really walk. I can get over all the mental hurtles (embarrassment/humility/scared/insecurity) just by showing up, but I'm very scared of the physical pain bc they will work me 10-14hrs a day, and I'm dreading the physical pain.

I am about to be in hell weeks in a goal I am after and I won't be done until almost end of January but I am going to get it done at my very best. What I learned is that you need to do something someone else has done but better and improve it to the max. He endlessly ran all the weight off, and while constantly fasting, no one has done that. He would do very long runs for weeks, with just a banana in his belly. To go further you got to manifest yourself going further, and the answers must be in visualisation first

@sadbravesfan8 ай бұрын
I know this video is old but the person interviewing needs to just stfu and stop interrupting. We aren't here to listen to you but to listen to the guest. This is one small thing that makes Rogan so great as a host.

I would bet that most BUDs quitters are the 'normal' guys ie they didnt have alot of emotional and psychological stress before BUDs. if you have relatively normal life, relationships and experiences its going to make it much harder to pass in fact it will handicap you for something like SEALs. Normal doesnt prepare one mentally or psychologically for warfare or SEALs. Warfare isnt 'normal'. Of course when you get out you have to adjust back again to non warfare life and alot of guys have problems with that. Goggins loves stress simply b/c thats all hes ever really known, he mentally rots if his stress drops, so he has tried to keep his stress levels high.
