He didn't even have the courtesy to give her an option to make questions in her own language! Now, wasn't that stupid? Yes, it was. If spanish speaking people can understand portuguese almost 100%, as you say, how come he didn't make questions IN PORTUGUESE then??

@antongrad the influence of the dialets that some cultures have when speaking the official language. Angola has more than 17 dialets. Does it influence their ability to hear and speak portuguese or spanish? hell yes. I speak well english but I do have trouble to understand some scotish and australian. I speak french; however it is easy for me to understand a congolese and a people from Quebec; however, I have trouble with some french native speakers; also with some brazilian from Gina Gerais etc

@hugbras Actually is not a stupid question at all: portuguese and spanish are so close that we both (spaniards and portuguese) can almost 100% understand to each other. there´s even a mix called portuñol. so...it is not stupid at all!!!!

And you´re right he didn´t have the courtesy. They should´ve had a portugues and spanish interviewer. But she nailed it just perfect, Becouse she´s not only beautifull but also smart.

@zenayonce Yes! every person who speaks portuguese automaticaly is able to understand spanish, unless you´re a very uneducated person; and also works the other way : portuguese to spanish. the problem here is that the interviewer speaks way to fast and with too much accent (caribean) . she needs tv couching. speak with no accent.

@zenayonce maybe... don´t know... are your colleges mexican american?don´t want to sound politically uncorrect but if they are, probably they come from a very humble background, wich there´s nothing wrong with it, but they ussually have a very poor spanish. and i also said that we´re able to understand it, not that we fully 100% get it. but we are absolutely able to keep a conversation, at list everyone i know here in Mexico. So i get the data from everymexican and latinamerican i know.
