Dear Nigel Stanford, This song has singularly kept my life in check innumerable times. The sound tapestry that you flawlessly weave continues to this day to assist me in just about everything, especially with this song. At the time of writing this I am in the middle of stressing out over a myriad of school projects that have to be done and I happened to run across this song again and it's wonderful. Every time there is anything other than peace the two sides rise up within the first few plucks and the music wins by the fourth. everytime I can't help but feel ok with everything. if only there were more people like you. everything would be much more ok. Nothing has ever happened to me that Entropy could not come to terms with, no injury to great that Entropy could not soothe, nothing has ever stopped me from listening to your music and nothing ever will. I Thank you so much eternally for making this music Nigel Stanford. Thank you.

This song blows my mind every time I hear it. The layers of guitar, bass, synths, piano, live drums and programmed drums. Wow. The melodies and counter-melodies contained within sound very complex and well thought out and arranged. It's not just 3 chords on repeat. ;-) As a producer and musician myself I truly appreciate this piece as I believe it shows all of Nigel's skills in one complete track. As many others have pointed out, he is like the scientific Mike Oldfield for the Internet generation. A true genius.
@ibrahimkahil61045 жыл бұрын
why do this guy has small likes?
@jonahmcgarva5 жыл бұрын
Ibrahim Kahil great question. His talent is far beyond most commercial artists out there, IMO. Maybe it’s because he’s actually been around since the 90’s. The industry is fickle about age. Asshats. His music is very dreamy and trancelike. But with pop sensibilities. That’s what makes him stand out from most EDM producers. He actually writes songs. And progressive ones too. Some of the vocal trax remind me of the current new wave revival (bands like CHVRCHES, Hundred Waters to name 2) and some of his instrumental trax remind me of everyone from Mike Oldfield to deadmau5 - in the most sincere way. Being able to mash it all up the way he does takes talent. And years of crafting the art. Which is why I think he “disappeared” for nearly 10 years. I did the same. :-)

@@Beeallu it's all about entropy, the song starts with very little entropy and then slowly slowly increases its entropy. This song kinda makes me feel that I am learning or studying something mystique in some sense and that it makes me feel empowered yet scared.It makes me feel how small we are but what if we start thinking in depth and then we can achieve a lot more if we all humans work in a very scientific manner. I don't know if I'm able to explain my emotion or not but truth is my feelings cannot be expressed in words. It makes my heart feel cold and that was something new for me

This also made me happy because he's about to escape from this world and i'm also happy that he met my grandmother in order to bring my father to this world in order to meet my mother and give birth to me so i can have happy thoughts about them ...
