Never trusted the game at all when Wilson said "Yeah just leave me behind and get me later" I was so afraid that the game would not let me get him back, so no matter what I took Wilson everywhere I go until the end. If he is stuck, I restart, if he died, I restart, I am never leaving behind Wilson at all.

Today on my second playthrough, I realized that Clone Cop straight up cut open his own skull to remove the transponder from his brain and didn't even bother putting his skullcap back on. On top of the exposed humerus and protruding ribs, that's seriously metal.

Thats not certain, combine could just made him without the skull part and he simply needed to only remove or cut his helmet. I doubt he even resembles human under that armor, he is literally running around with ribs and bones sticking out and he didn't even felt like mentioning it

I appreciate how this game has a lot of anti-frustration features like "oh yeah, just leave me here and come back after this segment" (looking at both the infamous Gnome and HL1's Heart of Evil mod for particularly awful escort quests) but if you choose to bring Wilson anyway you can still get a bit of extra dialogue.

There was a section with the "just leave me here" earlier. With the firefight in and outside living area with the climax of having a shoot out between buildings (great scenery as always). When I progress after that I thought I couldn't get Wilson back and re-do everything with him. So when the part in the video came I took him with me since I didn't trust the game and surely wanted to leave him behind after all that. proooooopably the game didn't lie and I could pick him up if I went further after the building-sections

@@Superschokokeks Yeah, once you finish the firefight on top of the building with the 2 mounted guns, you need to progress by jumping across a gap to another building and you will find Wilson waiting for you inside. Weirdly enough there was no dialogue when I got back to him though, but maybe it's just my game bugged out?

same m8, but you know for a game that... on fucking ( 1.0.0 ) and has only received one update... which was a subtitle fix- this game is a fucking masterpiece, no bullshit launch updates, no intense lag, nearly perfectly optimized and all your left with is (wilson's physics is a bit wonky and the clones gun was invisible) and having that on the games LAUNCH?!?! and... its... *FREEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!*

It was the fact that.. for a HL2 mod, somehow, it caused my fuckin PC, which is decently strong, to fuckin overheat and shut down my PC. And no. No other HL2 mods ever done this. The very first mod I ever truly loved caused my PC to overheat, while any other mods I play is fine..?! It completely ruined my experience for me. That was day one btw. So, I dunno if that is a known problem that may or may not have even fixed. Again, the mod is great, but that overheating BS really pissed me off. If they intend on making the sequel, I hope it won't cause that shit.. Such a shame for a peek modding mod of HL2 that I was truly enjoying.

the dev of this mod are almost on the same level as Valve on story-telling, and the level design, the way they ported the XEN environment, and the enemies are awesome, like the Headcrab Vortigaunt, it's another awesome design even tho, it's just Vortigaunt with Headcrab being placed on their head, but still it's another great creativity

Honestly that's probably the headcrab's natural host, considering there's no humans in Xen, so alien slaves, aka the vorts were used instead for the headcrab lifecycle/foodsource.

bro this part was so goofy for me lmfao, first I had two surrendered medics running after me and mossman, one of them got killed by the clone cop and the other one made it out with us, then I had my squad of 5 combine tryna run up the stairs blocking us ( this got us killed like 3 times ) then after we got out the clone cop had a firefight with my combine squad while we were getting stuck on doors with a rebel medic, very intense lmfao

He's not "supposed to be there", it's still a secret. When you take him with you, there will be certain areas he'll prompt you to leave him and come back later because certain segments would be frustrating with him. However if you manage to take him anyway, this extra tidbit of dialogue will occur.

The second time I played through, I brought him with me because I wanted to ensure the ending. I wasn't having defeat. He also asks, "Don't forget about me!" every time he's there, I guess.
