Cool stuff. I almost used Y&T also, but was focused more on ones with actual periods, purposely looking like an acronym. I think bands like HEAT, WASP and other are those types where the letters mean nothing but just look cool with periods. Fun stuff.

Sounds confusing!!! Today's report!!! Act, ! Heat , POD , who's better Act or that progressive rock band from the late 60's/early 70's? Act or Jethro Tull? Act or Pink Floyd?

I prefer Pink Floyd over Jethro Tull but they are both great bands. It's not fair to compare them to a newer band like ACT. Sorry about my explanation, but acronym is just a short term or abreviation.
