Heroin eyes. Seen them dozens of times and they are one of my favorite bands, maybe my favorite period. So sad that drugs killed them and Derek in the end.
@DoverNDollysMom4 жыл бұрын
I don't want to stir any pot, so please do not take this wrong. But, Derek is the only one who died from the original band. Unless something's happened to Vik I haven't heard about, the rest are STILL alive. Ricky, who replaced Vik Foxx, died of natural causes. I am only saying this to clarify the facts, so people do not assume things that aren't so or assume members to be gone and stop looking for their current works. I see there's a possibility you could also be saying the band broke up because of drug use, I can tell you it truly was not that simple. TRULY.

They are definitely household names. Donnie Vie and Vince Lauria have been friends since forever and ❤ have composed an awesome album. My Top three picks were Daddy's Girl, Smoking Hot Lollipop and a song to walk down the isle Can't Wait. The album made its debut in Europe and hit the charts quickly. Saw the band last summer playing with Sugar Bone! Shout out to Chris Davis and all the Boyz in the bands! check out Donnie Vie solo stuff with Vince LAURIA and Vinnie Castaldo. Awesome to see people reuniting from the band and with timeless 🎶🎵 🎸 tunes!

Well Donnie, I said on another page you probably owed me money, yet I see this song and realize it's probably the other way around! I made SOOOOO much money from this song! I started using it for my "song 3" when not many people had heard of you. I mean honestly, the "groove" was kick ass! And you can NEVER go wrong with a 6min+ song 3! Just enjoy the song, dance & sing along, and collect cash for 6 minutes! When I would play it, one of every 6 tips asked me who this awesome band was! Wait a minute......I was promoting you! Therefore you STILL owe me money!
@RockyStradlin3 жыл бұрын
What do you mean? Brother
@DoverNDollysMom3 жыл бұрын
@@RockyStradlin I mean four score and many moon ago, I worked @ TattleTale. (Atlanta) Without totally putting it out there, think Motley Crue "Girls girls girls". Around that time I met a band who was not even on the radio or MTV yet; Enuff Znuff. Quickly became close friends and spent many years hanging out and traveling around the east coast with them. Would allow any of them to stay at my place rather than a motel. Was one of the few people outside the band to hold laminates. Every time I would see Donnie it cost me money (aside for paying my own way). Be it me buying dinner or him stealing my clothes and/or makeup. ( I STILL miss one specific Loreal Eye shadow Donnie got of mine). Or getting a larger room in order to provide a safe refuge to hide from their manager. I always found myself spending money on them. Even spent $200 one of the last times I saw Donnie to pay for him to get some medical attention as he had strained his throat and had a show that night. I was joking that he owed me money on another page. (Literally joking, I'd do anything for any of them. And was always happy to do anything for them. ) Then, recently I saw Donnie had posted this song and I remembered how much money I made using it as my 3rd song on stage. ( It was like a 6 minute ATM producing $1 -$10 bills) So I was commenting that maybe I owed HIM money. Yet as my comment progressed I remembered how many times I'd be up there singing along and since I was one of the FEW girls who actually DANCED it would attract attention. Typically several people would ask me who the artist was to the great song i was dancing to. So as my comment progressed I realized I was actually a promoter! Therefor I DON'T owe him money, and he STILL owes me!! Now ya follow? :-) Tbh, I MISS them. I live way north in Canada now, so chances of us being nearby are rare. I wish I could see them, especially Donnie. I always cherished him and his gentle heart. (YES he does have one!) I TRULY miss Frigo and Ricky. They were serious losses. Very happy to see Donnie has survived and appears to be thriving now. There were a few years I was seriously worried if he'd come out the other side. It appears he has, and I'm overjoyed. I'm loving his recent music and hopeful he gets all he deserves, IN his lifetime! As everyone says, he's a true talent who has not been recognized as he so deserves to be. (At least many of the musicians know!) I've been able to keep in touch with Chip all these years, as he was the "organizer" of the band, but I'd love to be back in touch with Donnie. His heart, to me, is so genuine and true, it is the heart in almost all of their music. AND as far as I can calculate, he still owes me money! :-)
