It doesn't cease to amaze me how many uses crafters are coming up with for a tool that was (I assume) strictly intended to create envelopes! Thanks so much for sharing this, Dawn. Will have to put this idea on my "to-do" list for the next time I need a gift card holder.

love this project. I made one as a sample and found that the 4.25 x 11 sheet needs to be at 4.25 x 10.75 as it was too long once it's folded.

I don't have an envelope punch either. I used a 1" circle punch and marked at 1 inch and then punched it about 3/8 inch deep on either side.
