It's so great to see how Jason can't contain himself and asked Sam to go back to his place with him. Since Mexico, Jason had basically been doing all the pursuing and that's perfectly fine with us. Especially, because this time around he is the one that needed to prove himself to be trustworthy. He was the one that lied, betrayed, broke promises, broke trust, blackmailed and threaten to kill Sam. So, after all of that he needed to prove himself and then some to Sam. Sam had already proven herself to him. She did it by risking her own life to protect Elizabeth and her kids when the Russians were after them. Furthermore, when she went in and put her own life in the line to save Jake and so she did. Even though Jason had almost blew Jake into a million pieces because he decided to go in guns blazing without thinking about the consequences. Finally, Sam helped Jason with the whole mess he had with Spinelli and the FBI. If it weren't for Sam they would have not been able to retrieve the evidence the FBI was using as leverage against Spinelli. The FBI needed the evidence to force Jason's hand to turn him against Sonny. But thanks to Sam that didn't happen. Like we said, Sam had made amends for her wrong doings and her mistakes. She had also repeatedly apologized to Jason, to Elizabeth and to Lucky for everything she did. But most importantly, she was the only one who truly faced the consequences of her actions because she lost a lot when everything went down. She lost herself up to the point that she suffered a breakdown that led her to commit unspeakable acts. Acts that to these days she lives with the regrets. Furthermore, she lost Jason, the home and the life they built together. She lost her reputation along with her trustworthiness and to made matters worse she was cast aside by people that once she considered family and friends. Later on for a while, she lost Lucky and his trust. What is most interesting about this whole situation is the fact that all of those things happened to Sam because Jason decided to lie, cheat, betray and go back on his word and promises. He was the catalyst that set everything in motion. If Jason would have never done what he did none of it would have happened. If he would have just told the truth he would have avoided a lot of pain, hurt and a lot of damage. For, this time around it's Jason who needs to put in the time and effort to prove to Sam that he is trustworthy and that he can make her feel safe like he used to. Let's hope is up to the challenge.
