Oh, I live for the old GH clips. I watch them nightly here on You Tube. Such great writing, such great use of all the characters interwoven together seamlessly, not forced. And ONE mob story back in the 80s! After that they moved onto Ice Princess. Did you know Guza was a script writer back in the 80s during GH's heyday? I wonder what happened between then and now...

Tristan Rogers has a website and in one of his blog posts (or possibly an interview with him on the subject) he says that lots of showrunners try to make their mark, or put their own stamp on a soap and sometimes in the process it betrays the history and fanbase of the show. I've also read that Jill Farren Phelps is also a bit mob obsessed too and tends to kill off fan favorites, or separate a show's supercouples. I still hope somehow, someway, my old beloved GH will be restored.

It doesn't play that Luke had an affair with Holly while married to Laura especially when they were truly together.He loved Laura too much!!If he did he would have told Laura.He was all over her for lying about Nicolas.This would make him the biggest hypocrite of all!!

Robin confirmed that this happened when Robert and Holly were still married, but Holly never mentioned it as a reason for giving Ethan up. It's as if she was already separated from Robert.

The only possible way Holly's speech would make any sense is if it happened early 1990 after she regained consciousness and recovered from from her 22 month coma (April '87 - February '89 ) - - - was told by her family about Robert's engagement to Katherine Delafield and thought it was too late to enter Robert's life again 🙄❕❕❕ If we accept this time frame they are putting forth in this story line, Luke may be Ethan's father but Holly would not have been his mother - - they have never done a DNA test between Holly and Ethan. 💢This speech could now be explained as memory implanted in Holly (Espsecially since they don't need to cater to TG any longer 🤔)

Lucky did cheat with maxie. Poor maxie was a side piece a lot . No wonder she went with spin who worshipped her. What happened to Ethan? Sad theirs only one true spencer left and I'm sorry the actress isnt lulu to me . Recast lucky and find a better lulu please. I think that's one of the things lacking on gh no cassadines or spencers. I'm not a fan of lizzie but it's crazy theyve never given her a mom her dad is Jeff? Bring back sarah

I know Tony Geary wants an active storyline on GH and he's a great enough actor that he deserves one, but this is not it. TG and GF played their romantic love so convincingly that I do not believe that Luke would cheat on Laura back then. Not when they were that happy together. I just can't buy it. I'm sorry.

When Holly is going to Australia she mentions that Luke and Laura have a baby. So incredibly stupid that the show’s two most beloved couples were trashed in this way. I can’t even watch this.

hey i'm right there with you. Holly would have never cheated on Robert, and Luke would have never cheated on Laura, certainly not in the 80's just a couple years after she came back from the dead either. The re-writes really caused a LOT of damage to two of the shows most iconic couples. I do love Ethan as a character, but there were better ways to bring him on screen than to make him Luke and Holly's one night stand child. They could have easily just made him the child that Holly miscarried with Luke, instead of having them have some ridiculous one night stand during a supposed caper during the years we already knew Luke and Laura were hiding out from Frank Smith.

Holly was with Luke when they thought Laura was dead so it is not hard to believe the Ethan was his son with Holly. Holly was a better fit For Luke and so is Tracy. Besides the way they decided to write Lucky after the original lucky left was just a ruin to the character. the second dude that played lucky couldn't act at all and ruin the character. The third actor to play the character redeemd him (the guy who played him in this scene)but by then they already made lucky a victim character more like his mother instead of like his father and by the way Laura was always a victim and like to play Luke and Scotty against each other then play that innocent Act. She was not good for Luke, even the way they write Lulu is more of a combination of her mother with her selfishness and how is she way too loose whatever she does is right. Ethan it's the only character besides Carly and Bobby the act like to true Spencer's. Besides people tend to forget that Laura knew she was married to Luke when the cassadines kidnapped her and decided to have a kid was Stavros and was sleeping with his brother. Stephan to protect her from Stavros playing them against each other then when he brought Nicholas to town to save Lulu she played Stefan and Luke against each other and I loved the second actor that played Nicholas who they need to bring back as Nicholas and leave the originl guy who played Nikolas cassadine on Days of Our Lives and now that the actor that played his uncle Stefan is free from Days of Our Lives I hope they bring him back to GH to challenge Valentin. And I hope Victor comes back with Stephan and Nicholas in tow to take Valentine down and since Miko was frozen and they have the Cure bring him back to paid attention his and let him have relationship with all his grandchildren
