Just goes to show Sonny can't to Brenda with things, it's not his impulse. mostly because she doesn't take care of him he has to take care of her. When I was a lot younger I loved them together but I finally figured out why it's because Brenda was very relatable to me when I was 16 because she always behaved like she was much younger than she was. And that's exactly why no matter how much he loved Brenda they would never work out. She is not nearly strong enough to be with someone like that or mature enough to deal with the consequences of being with someone like Sonny.
