Good job & it's helpful to see how fast you do these! I'm environment designer organics, meaning mainly outdoor settings. For buildings it def helps to practice sketching many different styles. My first game was Viking medieval style for a long time & then for a while all the buildings I drew looked similar until I forced myself to spend hours drawing other cultures' architecture lol. There's big demand now in isometric & little tiles environment so u can prob sell these types of buildings easily if u want to freelance

You shouldn't see it a something that makes you suffer, just watch a video from a good youtuber, you learn from it, and you pratice what you've learned. Then you pass to another video for example.. The process is long but if you like/love drawing, it's the most exciting part because you keep learning new things that make your drawings look better. Of course you can have ton of knowledge, without praticing it's useless. Good luck.

Through practice you will be the best, no artist in this world became an artist without being bad in drawing at first. Every line even a single ruined line can be turned into wonderful creation in a drawing, so don't be sad :)

Well, if you can simplifying object into basic geometry form - the ball, pyramid, box, cylinder, and cone. And having knowledge about perspective, you will find almost anything will be easy to drawn. It kinda almost like studying math again really. I'm also still struggling with drawing cube in 2 point perspective a lot. But with kinda RIGHT practice, I'm sure you can be a great artist. I'm sure you know this but, I also recommending channels like Moderndayjames to know about prespective (his draw like Kim Jung Gi is really great), and Proko about human anatomy. Oh, and also don't go straight into detail, you will be stress out and mostly you will be find your drawing out of proportion. Cheers~ Have fun drawing.

@0WeirdoSociety0
@0WeirdoSociety0 5 жыл бұрын
Well speed is something that comes naturally with practice. There is no real trick to it other than to just draw as much as possible. The best trick tip i could give you would be that you shouldnt focus on details too much. First the general shape of let say a building, then you add extra walls or roofs and than extra features. The more you will draw however the faster you will become :)

Hello! Im using a program called Adobe Photoshop. Now when it comes to apps for drawing you can really use anything. For me i had to learn photoshop in highschool so i got used to it however i wprked with an amazing artist before who strictly used Corel Draw. At the end of the day try to find one you are most conftrible using as most programs offer simillar experience with the exception to photoshop that has a lot of photo manipulating tools. Photoshop is not a program used for drawing usally but a lot of people like its versatility but the down side comes with the high price tag. Trust me any free alternative is just as good. Hope this helps :D

@@justCommando yeah its for sure a challenging task but its the same as with any other skill. With practice you get better. For comming up with designs its good you jave a good visual library. Not gonna lie it's actually really annoying to me that so many drawing youtubers just use a drawing tablet. I mean yeah it saves on paper but being able to just grab and move your drawing after you have set it up just seems like cheating to me. Also I would rather enjoy watching you actually blend in and shade for all these buildings and see how you layer them together properly without just picking them up and moving them.

Hey man i totally feel you. There is something that i personally like about digital art that has a different feel than traditional drawing. That being said I do have many sketchbooks in which i draw and honestly i was thinking about also filming videos of me drawing on paper however the digital drawing and video making is cheaper and easier due to the fact that its you screen being recorded and you dont need a camera hanging somewhere. I do love traditional artist on youtube and really want to dwell into that myself but it does require a decend setup for conftrible drawing but also a good video quality. It a whole different beast to conquer than digital art filming and at the moment not something i can get into yet but i do hope to film traditional drawing and painting one day :)

@@0WeirdoSociety0 thank your for your perspective! I won't say your art isn't amazing because it is. It's just that I basically have the same problem with not being able to afford a digital drawing pad. Most of the materials I have are gifts and I don't even have a "proper" set of drawing pencils. Your building designs are beautiful all the same. It just freaks my brain out to watch the perspective point change once the object is already drawn. I would assume a lot of time also goes into learning how to draw on the tablet itself.
