I hate it, the postgame's waaaaaaaaaay outstayed its welcome for me, which is why I'm now being forced to simply look up the highlights and ending, then never touch it again. It's far too tedious for me.

@@5uperM Yes I am, I'm forced to do it because completing it myself is a massive chore instead of a fun experience, and because if you don't do the postgame at all you get a bad ending. If you do the postgame it turns out you still get bad endings though, so oh well about the latter part.

+DoomXBio Hey thanks for that! This definitely isn't an easy fight, even on Normal. I died 4 or 5 times trying to record this, and that's after having already beaten it several times in other playthroughs (normal and challenge mode)!

I was reliably able to skip the third platforming part in the second phase by using my double jump to reach the head, and then dashing upwards to hit the head a second time when it comes back.

That is The Bike. You get it by dashing through the "air tube" (you'll need the dash booster X) in the room before the plague hive fight after beating the game. You can get in there before then, but I believe you either can't reach it or it's just not there, though there is a computer that tells you to "come back when all is said and done".

How do you get him to appear in that room? Found the room. Did the orbs and restless spirit. Got the crown. Beat game with crown and got different ending with Mwyahs face smashing my ship, but he still won't appear in the room.

Did you do the first fight with him on the planet's surface? He won't show up in the chamber until you've beaten him there on that playthrough.

To get to the glitch room, you need to get the crown. To get the crown, you need to work out the clues from a hidden room in the research outpost (it's not the secrets map).

I can't find anything on this; I'm at 166% and don't know how to get to the "glitch" room, I don't know what the crown is, and I don't know how to get to this fight. Is it hardmode only?

The answer to all of these can be obtained by playing through the Research Outpost (and being on NG+ for part of the clue to the crown), except for the hardmode one, which the answer is no, thankfully. The teleporter to the outpost is in the top-right of the Serpent-5 fight, and the clue to get past the "barrier" to it is in the bottom of the underwater sector, opposite the entrance to the spike maze. I believe the entrance to the clue opens up after beating the first Mwyah fight and getting the key after.

How did you get 15 health? I started Hard Mode, and only had 10.

You're on the old challenge mode, this is on the new one (though you can still activate the old one). In the new one you start with 1 health and can get up to 15 with health upgrades. In the old one you start with 10 health but can't get any health upgrades.

+ProtoShel So how do I activate it? I held down the Right Arrow to activate the 10HP run, so where can I find the hint (or you could tell me) that shows me to unlock your version of that mode?

The new CM took over the right arrow, while the old CM was moved to the left arrow. Looking through the game's files, there is a clue for it somewhere: [forever] 1=the secrets go deeper and deeper, yet you keep finding themÅ 2=but one day they'll have the final laughÅ 3=begone!Å 4=(by the way you can start %classic challenge mode# by holding #left% on an empty save slot!)Ö If it's where I think it is though, then it's in a place that is, at best, incredibly difficult to access.

Looks like I've got an older version. On a side note, got any tips for getting all the diskettes on any version of Hard mode? There's one that's guarded by some lava, and I often die after getting it after losing all 10 HP.

+Deadwolfthedark66 The hundred thing is like right at the end of the "post-game" puzzle/secret stuff, though the "point told" only shows up when you go back there on new game +, which occurs when you reach the end of the secret stuff!
