yeah only in battles that i tend to turn off the fire. i was kind of rejected from the underground scene when i got my commercial "success" so i had a year of feeling like iI don't belong that i had to shake off here...but now after speaking to wigz and pete i'm feeling it out again and starting to feel more a part of it. i always was doing my thing...just not at underground events!

@TRONDIZZLEFBC i'm not one for internet arguing...but truthfully you know nothing about my personal experiences regarding dance....i'll leave that issue there...that being said your right in the fact that i have been busy working on my art in choreography so therefore lost touch with the freedom of just dancing...i noticed that and have been working on it non-stop since...you don't need to defend something or somebody i was never attacking...its dance...not war...and i'm just learning and livin

Pacman was the reason I started popping, and he's an amazing dancer, no one can do what he does. But gotta give my respect for Devious here for going in hard, popping freestyle and showing great creativity. Devious wins in my book, Pacman ran out of moves and went for some choreo which was offbeat. But back when pacman was popping only, I dont think devious would have taken him, but today he did. Great battle though. Peace.

@TheKulturekidsTV My Dancing when it's just me and the music in a studio, a cypher, or club is very different then this stage showcase....I'm shaking two years of battle rust off so naturally i'm gonna freeze up and get shook the first time getting back in the ring...i'm uploading many more freestyle vids and battle footage soon so people can see the vast difference....lol

no one finds it hilarious that devious literally printed a shirt just for this battle, then gave it to pacman? the amount of thought&effort that goes into it.. from designing it on microsoft paint, to going to a screenprinter to actually paying to print it, to bringing it to the battle and keeping it on the side til the very end.. and what if he felt like he didn't actually outperform pacman, would he still give him the shirt? that would be so much time wasted

Devious was a good dancer but Pacman's musicality was better here and that's what's important in dance. Devious had a dance with an attitude, so it was probably what caught the eyes of the judges for a dancer needs to have the guts to do things like that. Both are great, so respect to Pacman and Devious.

Devious for me, its nice that Pacman dances so much, practices and all that, but when I look at Devious I see creativity, originality and some dope tricks, like the t-shirt stuff. And next to all that, Pacman is a biter, he took that move from Demon. If you watch Salah & Damon vs Claire & Magalie you will see the move that Pacman did and he also kinda took that move from Salah on 1 part. If you are a dancer/pro dancer, you don't try to become it by biting.

Idk, doesn't matter a whole lot now since this battle happened a while ago and it was exhibition, but I feel like the winner depends on whether it was a popping battle or an all-styles battle. If it was a popping battle, Devious definitely took it, but if it was all-styles, I think it goes to Pacman. Props to both.

Many people think Pacman won because of his creativity, it captures the eyes regardless especially how he uses his waves. but any good dancer (poppers specifically and REAL ones) will know that in a popping battle Devious wins out on it, people are too bias nowadays and like what looks good to the naked eye, many dont see how many things devious does right and the flaws in Pacmans battles. Its one of the reasons why Pacman HARDLY or AT ALL is in the battle community, it doesnt suit him, hed get

this was a beast battle but in my opinion devious took it. pacman is raw af no doubt but idk i like devious's style here. ive seen too many bonebreak already so its not that much of a deal. but pacman unique style is an amazing plus. but devious just brought it here. he battles really well and his ground owrk of his second rounf was beast

Since it's a battle, it goes to Devious but I didn't think he was the better popper. Pacman is dope and really unique, but didn't seem like he was in battle mode. Seemed too rushed with everything he was doing. If it was just a spur of the moment thing, then kudos for Pacman getting back in the ring. If his hat is back in the battling circuit then he has a ways to go. But he could do it on some Salah type greatness if he really wanted to.

@SilencePopping It's bc Devious was doing "certain" dance moves that guys "his size" normally WOULDN'T be able to do...Although, I DEFINITELY AGREE with u that @pacman definitely WON; simply bc WHILE @pacman INCORPORATED different ELEMENTS of technique into his routine (WAVING, TUTTING, BONEBREAKING, etc...) and EXECUTED them all with great precision and fludity, Devious did the same old "TICKING" or "POPPING" routine thru out the whole battle and WASN'T that graceful in groundwork.

+Jdub Griff Pacman hds better moves, but there was something off about him. He was just doing flashy moves with the music. Devious didn't have as flashy of moves, but he had much more musicality. I guess its because devious has more experience in battles.

@JoeyCMarchio see this is where the new generation is at. All you see is cool looking moves, if you understand dance, it is not the moves that matter its more of the feel and devious has a better feel than pacman. devious can dance and keep the energy longer, pacman near the end ran out of moves.
