She is not uncommon in Irland, there are girls like her in looks and the way she talks, touches your very soul. Can you imagine, as young 21 year old boy meeting an Irish girl just like her in Dublin, that knew the history, music, country of culture like no other, spoke Galic, French, and pure English Dublin tone. That was the girl I fell in love with, and never got over. I just accepted the fact I met an angel! 50 years ago and to this day Enya's music fills my heart and sprit with joy of those day I had with her.

This is such a beautiful album with the most deeply emotionally moving songs, beautiful Christmas themed songs and of course the gorgeous "Dreams are more Precious than Gold". I am looking forward to playing the new Enya CD that my has bought for me but which I can't play until Christmas morning!! Enya's new album is considered to be a real classic. So it sounds like something wonderful!!

This is a really superb album. It wasn’t a huge commercial success and my theory is that from a marketing perspective the public perhaps weren’t really sure what they were going to get - was it a traditional Christmas album or rather a Winter-themed album with a few Christmas songs. But I think the content is spot on because Christmas is one part of Winter and Winter on its own can conjure up so many darker emotions, intense feelings but also a sense of spirituality which this album conveys. I’d love to see this album becoming an annual favourite in the charts, just to balance out the more pop-orientated music we are so used to now.
