I discovered Enya and New Age music back around 1993 when I walked into a Natural Wonders store inside our local mall. Id never heard anything like it . Im a rock and heavy metal guy. I just kept perusing the store listening. I was charmed to my soul. I still love Enya. My wife bought me her CD Shepherd Moons. I wore it out. My wife passed 3 years ago. I think of her when I hear Enya songs still.

ENYA is in a class all by herself. She plays ALL the instruments, layers in all the background vocals , and does all the editing.

While I can certainly agree that she's in a class of her own, she does not actually do any of the editing herself, the majority of what you hear is put together by her producer Nicky Ryan whom she has worked with for many years, she Will come up with the melody of the song and the work with him to arrange it before recording it.

They've been together since 1985, when asked to do the music for a TV Show, The Celts, which went on to be her first album in 1987. I agree. I have loved Enya's music for decades and used it for meditation too. She does sing quite a few songs in Irish Gaelic [her native and first language], but the chorus in this song in this song is in the fictional Elvish language. One of my favorites, as I play it often, it means a great deal to me as it was an enormous help at a worrisome time for me>I was in a hospital bed a couple years of years ago, wearing the ring of a halo, bolted to my skull that was being used to apply traction to pull my upper spine, and skull back into line for fusion surgery. My main entertainment was youtube on my phone, and I had been informed around noon that the operation would begin the first thing the following morning, and there was a chance I would not be waking from it or could awaken paralyzed. sleep was not forthcoming after that and considering the upcoming long nap I used the time to listen to a lot of favorite music, this song came up in a video with some images that spoke to me deeply, -I listened to this song a number of times just before being wheeled off to the operating room so I could replay the music, and images in my mind before drifting off. It was a major help in letting me go there with great calm, and composure, it was a massive comfort to me-very much a benediction to start the journey ahead . All went very well, and now I am fine again, and listen to this song on a regular basis- this is the first review I have seen on it

Мне кажется что ЕНИЯ представительница древнего народа эльфов. Её голос понять умом разумом невозможно , она как будто берёт тебя за руку и ты пересикаешь временное пространство и она подводит твою душу к обители древних Богов .
