I own this guitar, and I regret ever buying it! But I was told that all these cool features were soon to be added to the app. Which never happened on the English version of the app! They have a Chinese version that has been constantly upgraded like 30 times while the English version is forgotten! They are up to 3.8.2, while English version is 2.3.0 and only gives you the very basic ability to use the guitar! Put it this way, the guitar is only as good as the app. And the English version of the app is horrible! Which makes the guitar horrible! The least they could do is upgrade the app, or at least make the Chinese version have English also on it so we who do not speak Chinese can have the same functions we were told we would have when we bought this guitar! So unless you understand Chinese don’t waste your money on this guitar! Everything is done through the app, and since it stinks, so does the guitar! 😊

@@CTRLd_Environment It’s really sad that this company has just decided to forget English speaking customer base. The guitar plays pretty good as far as the neck and set up. But I bought the guitar for the features that they have just decided to only make available to Chinese speaking customers! Maybe if enough people return their guitars, they will get a clue?

@@HumbleHeartMinistry update I got my money back and they let me keep the guitar lol. Literally the second week I’ve had it and it started to turn on and off on its own and now it doesn’t even turn on. Glad I got my money back.

Its not the kind of thing I would buy for general use although I can see this being good for travelling and considering good travel acoustics are expensive it does serve a purpose for me.

Why is advertised as a silent guitar? It comes with earphones so I need to practice at home without disturbing others, but so far it looks like it’s a loud guitar instead of a silent guitar

I own a Tonewood Amp, which is attatched to the back of the guitar magnetically, and it vibrates against the guitar using the guitars own sound. (I.E. the audio out is plugged into the Tonewood Amp, which essentially re-vibrates the guitar, but with added digital effects. The resulting sound, then, comes out of the guitar hole. Not the same concept, but I mention the ToneWood Amp as a comparison to radically-inventive nature of the Enya Guitar. (My own sound experiments can be seen on my Acoustic Rabbit Hole channel, for those interested).

Please show and explain how to use the app to shape the guitar sound. Is the effect saved to the phone, the guitar (onboard) or to the cloud?

Hi I have been watching many video and only you have activated backing sound. This attracts me. How can you making the backing music dynamic or with chorus plat over? I don't know how to describe but I mena is the backing keeps the same all the time or u can change during chorus etc. Tq

I'm the owner of a first-generation nexg guitar, and I'm absolutely furious. This guitar faithfully worked for precisely a year and a half, but now it refuses to charge. After scouring the internet, I've discovered that this is a common issue. There are countless reviews on Amazon where people complain that the guitar simply won't charge. Here's the typical scenario: you plug it in, it indicates it's charging; you unplug it, and it's dead. I've always kept my guitar in its case and treated it with care. However, Enya's technical support is nonexistent. I've reached out via email, their website, Instagram, Facebook - but received no response. In essence, I've wasted 700 euros. This guitar is irreparable. There are no spare parts available online, no repair instructions, no replacement batteries. Keep in mind, if you buy this guitar, you might end up tossing it after a year and a half. And you WILL definitely toss it after 3-4 years when the battery dies.

Incomplete review, Ok i am going to give you 👎🏻 because no one showed about how silence the guitar is, they show the ear pieces but how do i know silence the guitar is with earphones on? I will buy it if the guitar don’t disturb others. So no help at all with your video, you are not even show the earpieces

This guitar is great for mobility impaired/wheelchair users. No plugging in leads or effects pedals. No running over leads and damaging them in your wheelchair. I purchased one and am so happy! I produced a segment on this also. This is a a great review of the actual guitar features. Thank you so much!

I bought mine, have the same situation. I'm wheelchair bound. Had my guitar almost 2 years, it sat the last 5 months. Now it won't turn on.

It would be nice if it worked. For the sake of completeness, I'm also talking about the seriousness of the Enya company, which sent me two faulty guitars (they don't turn on), one of which with burst batteries and poisonous liquid leaking from the microphone itself. I was forced to make two returns and obviously no longer have to deal with a company that works in this way

Had mine for a week cant put it down, I love the sounds anmd all the options. For looping I have to say the bass sound is terrible but the one man band options are wonderfull - its mostly a user freindly smartness. Great product.

I think it's cool that it has a lot of effects in one instrument. No need to buy all the equipment. Good enough for practice and recording at home.

Thanks for the in-depth review. I went ahead and ordered one. For 400 dollars I love it. It is not an acoustic and it is not an electric, it is something new. It even sounds great running the line out wirelessly to a PA speaker. I love the look and feel. It is fun and just begs to be played. I can honestly say it exceeds my expectations for a first generation smart guitar.

I ordered a lava me 3, used from Amazon. It was nice, except the action was horrible and most of the effects sounded similar. I took it to a guitar tech who said the neck was bowed and as there was no truss rod he couldn’t adjust the action. I returned the guitar. I was going to try to buy another new, but then came across this one for half the price. I just ordered. If it doesn’t work out I’ll return it. The karaoke feature is pretty cool. I like the idea of my voice coming through the speaker when making videos.

Hi man, great review. I saw you also tested the nova go sp1, which one is better in your opinion? I played the sp1 for few hours, it's not bad with reverb/delay but I found the internal speaker to be not so loud. Wait for your thoughts on both in comparison

A traditional guitar weights around 3 pounds, would be interesting to know how much this one weights; there is one in auction in town now, maybe at half price it is no brainer,I just got a Taylor Academy 12 last week same auction, new for $450; it sells on Sweetwater for $750.00. I do not like they are made in China, other reviews for similar Enya mention very bad things with the action being too high and frets wearing after just few months of intense playing; these would be interesting things to know but as far as the review goes it is nice to see. Thank you for the video.
