“Only Time” (2000) was composed and recorded by native Gaelic speaker Enya and released in 2000 as the first single from “A Day Without Rain” (2000). The piece took on new meaning in 2001 as a 9/11 tribute song. The artist performed it on “Larry King Live” on November 8, 2001. She confirmed to host King that the air was to be reissued on November 20 with all the proceeds going to the firefighters, America’s finest, who lost 300 officers to the atrocities.
