*H.E FCPA WYCLIFFE OPARANYA MOURNS MUSIC ICON THE LATE NZENZE* Governor Wycliffe Oparanya has mourned Kenyan twist maestro John Nzenze who died today at St Elizabeth, Mukumu Mission Hospital. He said the country has lost a veteran musician who music not only entertained his generation but has also educated many generations. "I have learnt with shock and sadness the demise of Kenyan twist maestro John Nzenze. The cruel hand of death has robbed the music industry an iconic figure whose music did not only entertain his generation but has also educated many generations," said FCPA Oparanya. He sent his message of condolences to the family, friends and fans of the late Nzenze who died of prostate cancer. "In this moment of grief, my thoughts and prayers go to his family, friends and fans of his music," he said. "On behalf of the people of Kakamega County, my family and on my own behalf, I wish to convey my sympathies and condolences to his family. May the Almighty God comfort you during this trying moment."
