I'm a fan of bushcraft knives, own a handful of fixed blades, Enzo Trapper, Mora, Condor, Real Steel but wanted a folding BC knife to edc. This is my favorite edc knife right now, I love it, recommend it. It's worth the price. I paid a little more for micarda scales, 145, but man what a sweet folding blade.

Great review thanks.. I like the knife for the Scandi blade as I can sharpen on my stone easy. For a folder I would not use it hard or battoning on it but with the thicker stock I think it would last longer if you had to and did do those things. It is worth the trade off of weight for a stronger blade to me. I use a fixed blade when ever I can but in the city for every day carry it is not legal to just have on my person if the blade is 3" or more or in a pocket if it is not a folder under 3" inches. So this knife being 75 mm 2 & 7/8 inches makes it Leagal for my area if I want to carry. My area will let you carry bigger knives and fixed blades but only for work or recreational activities in good faith purpose.

I must say I did take 2000 grit sandpaper to the edges just to knock off the "sharp edges"

whatever you do do NOT thin out the scales as the retaining screws wont hold the handle tightly enough

You'd be better carrying a Mora Heavy Duty than this. Don't really understand the point of a bushcraft knife you can't batton with.
