Here's my idea for the randomizer: you start on a fresh save and try to see how far you can get. HOWEVER, the randomizer can only choose enemies you've discovered and are in the encyclopedia. This could mean that if you were to go and attempt a stage like dark souls, that runs a risk since crazed cat will now be in the pool of possible enemies. This could open up tons of strategy and risks on where to progress.

I think for a more "balanced" (to actually be playable and not for yt suffering that is) experience the mod should randomise not within all enemies list, but at least within broad categories: peon, melee pusher, midrange, backliner, boss However what you do is still perfect anyway

You could make it so that every stage is only randomized once so you could actually develop some strategies against each stage or to extend the series make every enemy have a random magnification from 20-100 %
