The first verse sounded so different from anything I've ever heard from Hyolyn. Sounds like she's in her soft girl era. She's such a vocal prowess that I forget she can do softer songs like this too. This is her singing while her throat is not in the best condition too. I wonder if she chose this song or if the staff did...? I remember years ago she mentioned that sometimes the staff recommends songs and don't allow certain songs. I just would never think Hyolyn would choose a song like this but she surprises me every time. What's next a recent idol group song? A trot song? R&B? Let's take your range to the next level Hyolyn. @@belensanchez-ti9sr I have! I'm such a hyottie/bae. Been following Hyolyn since predebut. But she made To My Youth more powerful sounding. This is more comparable to when Hyolyn did a cover of IU's Friday but she made it more R&B. IU has such a soft singing voice, it is totally opposite of Hyolyn's power vocals which is why it surprises me more when Hyolyn does softer songs cause it is not easy since her voice is naturally so husky.
