Funny, I remember the faces and charactor names but can't remember storylines. Are these episodes available in order somewhere so that the soap channel could actually run them again? I mean, I would LOVE to watch these old soaps again. Love of Life and Search For Tomorrow had wonderful actors & storylines.......I miss the soaps from the 70's

So Jody's from Springfield, and Draper and April's house is in Oakdale. Just a small P&G world!

I loved those P&G mentions. I just wish they'd had some crossovers.

Agree with Robert Sharp below. The little clown puppet always does an unnecessary amount of pose/vouge maneuvers before he attacks. Very stylized. Ridiculous but awfully suspenseful.

I think it shows how nuts the person who has that puppet on its hand is. This isn't just killing someone. This person is enjoying it.

Why wouldnt april and draper go back to thier house?? Its great...who would want to raise a kid on 32nd floor of a penthouse over a cottage house???!!!!...
@ziggy126572 жыл бұрын
April inherited the penthouse from her mother Margo after Nola murdered her.
@daddy2299 Жыл бұрын
I wouldn't go back. Too many bad memories for both parties. Besides who would turn down that penthouse? No one know. Lol

Because Draper lived there with Emily. April didn't want to go back to the house after that.

Hmmm, a clown puppet reads the sign on the Karr/Scott law office, then holds a knife in its little hands. Stylish in a Hitchcock sort of way? Yes. Plausible? No, but it was entertaining.

I think you have to consider the person wearing the puppet on their hand. It shows how truly nuts they are. They also are having a good time doing it.

I notice the show doesnt really acknowledge days such as st.pats...independence day...halloween...i see nary a pumkin here...possibly because abc preempted it so much???

I don’t think this episode was suppose to really specify that it was Halloween Night, just the fact that it was suppose to be suspenseful. Soaps prior to the 80’s didn’t really do theme episodes like they do now. Christmas of course, along with Thanksgiving and New Years they did do. “The Doctors” did do a Halloween episode in 1979, but just kids dressing up no storyline surrounding it. I believe Ryan’s Hope is one of the only soaps at it’s time to celebrate St Patrick’s Day.

OK, why did the clown puppet stab Cliff? I read a brief summary of the whole story on a previous episode and this stabbing wasn't in it.
@a.b.s_productions3 жыл бұрын
Cliff wasn’t at this time the most likable character during this time. But in Edge fashion, no one was really safe in Monticello.
@edgefan44373 жыл бұрын
@@a.b.s_productions Ha ha, Cliff got stabbed because people didn't like him. I've seen the whole story now and it kind of makes sense why he was attacked and I will leave it at that. Like you state "in Edge fashion", the show did like to have the viewers on the edge of their seats as to who would get killed next when there was a killer on the loose.
@sbookey3 жыл бұрын
Cliff kept saying "I know who murdered Eliot Dorn" and the killer (won't reveal) was around him when he exclaimed this, so ... stabby stabby.
@edgefan44373 жыл бұрын
@@sbookey Stabby stabby, ha ha, funny. Thanks for the explanation.
@a.b.s_productions3 жыл бұрын
@@sbookey As good as this storyline was I just find it little hard to believe that (Blank) was the Murderer. There was definitely little to no connection with (the murderer) and Elliot nor motive except for a brief visit. But I guess that’s all the uniqueness of EON.
