Did this cause any issues on hinge of MacBook? After many months of use?

No issues in a year of use. The MacBook Air isn't as slim and cool, but the extra protection makes me feel better.

@@TechTravelGeeksThank you so much for confirming! This helped a lot. I have ordered eoocoo’s mate finish ( ultra-thin) case. Hope there is sufficient heat transfer and no issues with heating.
