Cool, must give that a spin 😀 I haven’t found trouble stitching in photoshop (ACR) but then I’d probably never have more than say six/seven raw files to join. Where I have run into trouble is getting my video editor to scroll some of those really wide ones , could be my Mac haemorrhaging over that process 🙁 I saw the first hands on mention of the RF 24mm you were talking about a couple of weeks back, but could be one of the early freebee’s handed to Canon users with more than a million subs, guess I’m well down the queue.

Oh man sounds like ACR or photoshop could be sweet also, I must admit to having never attempted outside of Lightroom which does a fairly average job at times… hmmm yes I don’t mind this panorama option in the R7 but yeah I would have like RAW, honestly I will probably grab the RAWs as normal and then do a quick in cam pan as a back up.

Great Video Corey, I take it the R7 replaces the 7D mk 2 and is a crop sensor? I think i prefer the Iphone pano! Interesting that canon would include a cell phone process in a Mirrorless camera, they must they want to appeal to a wider range of customers! I've always processed by panos in Camera Raw, and while it's not without pain! I have always had issues with Lightroom! the latest version of Camera Raw, (adobe Bridge) seems a lot smoother and overall I am impressed with the 2022 version of Photoshop! I've just bought a new camera an am impressed that the lens profiles and correction are ticked on import! one less step in the workflow eliminated! my 5D Mk4 still requires that step!

Hey Tony. The R7 believe it or not is successor to the 90D rather than the 7DII but the proof will be if Canon carry on the 7D line in mirrorless and if so how they will name it. I’ve not used ACR for panoramas, must give that a go so I can check it out. Yes the cellphone processes I want to see in cameras are things like passcode lock & find my camera GPS tracking. Also looking forward to hear how your experiences are with the new camera

@@TheOtherPhotoGuy This weeks Video is a straight head to Head between the New R5C and my old 5D mk 4 10 images later, I'm pretty impressed! the stills are a bonus as far as i am concerned! I bought it mainly for video, which I'm sure it will handle and I can future proof that side of my channel!

@@TheOtherPhotoGuy Originally I was looking at the R5 and I had one on my trademe watch list, still under warranty but they wanted 90% of new purchase price that i could purchase the R5 for, yes the R5C is significantly more expensive, and i will spend more on it in the future! I bit the bullet and bought it!

Awesome feature. Do you know if the r6 or R6ii have this feature as well?
@TheOtherPhotoGuy Жыл бұрын
Hey Mark R6II does, R6 does not!

Crap, I didn't even know my new R7 could do sweep panos. I have done the stitching method on my other DSLRs, but I have always loved the ease and general quality of the shooting panos on my smartphone. And my smartphone panos can be printed to a fairly good size, but I imagine I will do better from the R7. I am going to try it today.

What language is he speaking? I don't understand a word. He lives on a beautiful planet though. Wonder how he got the camera, did Canon beam it up?
