Eotech 512 vs Leapers UTG cheap red dot sight

Looking for a red dot but not sure if you should go big with an Eotech or Aimpoint vs a cheap red dot like Leapers UTG? I've recently upgraded to an Eotech 512 holographic red dot and I can tell you that it makes a world of difference! Today I'll go over why I chose the Eotech 512 over all of the other options and why the Leapers UTG is not a bad optic for the money!

Who thought I was just going to crap all over the UTG? It's decent for the money but the Eotech is a huge improvement!

I still rock a UTG quad rail on my main AR setup. My uncle gave it to me in like 2007ish but he had it on one of his for a few yrs. Thing is rugged and does not flex or lose zero etc. Been wondering about UTGs other products esp this. Good video!

this video sounds lke it's just non stop bashing on the UTG and praise on the eotech. yes eotech is great at 100-200-300 yards, but unless you're going to battle, home defense doesn't need 100 yards scope.

Im stuck on the fence with eotech if there was a 1 moa dot only with the dual AA batteries I'd be sold on it.Battery life and stuck to one reticle is an expensive buyer's regret breakdown.

The 512 with the AA batteries is 1 moa dot

@RuggedAdventures i researched all models the exps3-1 or the xps3-1 is the dot only models without the doughnut of death but with the cr123 battery some claimed 600 hours.
