no casual shooter is doing tactical operations, red dot fake is much better than an original one, it fulfills its objective.

Only if it's the real clone for 150 bucks. Then yes. But a red dot doesn't help you when it's lose zero.

You get what you pay for, also if you are not in the field and only plinking metal, why pay $750.. my arP cost me $470, I will never put a $800 eotech on her, I'll settle for a fake eotech for $50, buy multiple and modify majority of them

The real eotech doesn't have glare from the front glass and also you can not see the reticle from the front. Just 2 more things to look for.

Is that true? I got an eotech used and I can see the reticle from the front when the brightness is really high..

@@itsmejose92yours is legit, got mine from eotech directly and I see the reticle from the front with the brightness all the way up too

I got an EOTECH this week off of Amazon. I wanted the OD green version & could not find it at any of my local gun stores, so I ordered it. Luckily, it does seem to be real, but for the $40 savings off the cost of the black ones that I could get in town, the seller removed all the paperwork from it before sending it to me. No EOTECH sticker, no warranty paperwork, no user guide. I'm thinking it is what's called a 'grey market' item, like they do with camera equipment. It's made by the original manufacturer, but meant to be sold outside of the United States, without a United States warranty. I will be deducting points off of that review!

? just look if it's holographic. When it's just a red dot with laser emitter in the middle, then yes it's fake

Thanks for the info it was good to learn something first time i saw info about eotech fakes being out there
