I like that they train civilians but With all do respect, militia has nothing to with “cult family”. The militia act states who are the militia and the people are part of it. Cqb should be a part of the tool box for being a modern minuteman. Shouldn’t treat the word militia like it’s a bad thing. “A militia when properly formed are in fact the people themselves…and include, according to the past and general usuage of the states, all men capable of bearing arms… “To preserve liberty, it is essential that the whole body of the people always possess arms, and be taught alike, especially when young, how to use them.” - Richard Henry Lee, Federal Farmer No. 18, January 25, 1788

Taking a CQB course changed how I do things when it comes to security. I took notes so I could reflect back on what was taught. It’s not always just a room clearing course. It’s a course that teaches mindset and tactics to live.

As fellow LE to Blake, what he is telling you is absolutely true regarding Police and response times. Most of us will try to get there as quickly as we can, but given staffing, it’s unknown how many can respond. Anything you can do to prepare yourself to survive the moment is to your advantage. As far as 911 calls go, generally, Police respond to 911 hang ups. So unless that’s different where you live don’t worry too much about staying on the line if more important tasks need to be dealt with. If you’re on a mobile just get out your location as the phone gps can take a dump.

The fact we’re even asking the question if it’s “okay” for civilians to learn and train anything is the problem. The people who think they should gatekeep anything is wrong in itself. When you think of all the oathbreakers in this country who are ready and willing to go up against civilians when their elite masters order them to do so should tell any and everyone that all civilians should be training in all aspects they possibly can in firearms and medical training. That “paranoia” you speak of is warranted these days. Anyone who can’t see that is either blind or they’re a schill to the government most times for monetary reasons sadly.

Unfortunately it’s very important to train together. We forget many civilians have law enforcement or military training also. The importance of backup is immense ‼️ Now we generally know Police usually come after the situation and if alive ?? Then explain to Officers of what’s taking place.

I don’t see why people are saying Kyle is programmed to think militias are bad. He never once said that. He just expressed that cqb is to protect your unit not to train breaching houses because civilians won’t be breaching houses. They’ll be protecting themselves most likely in their home. Seems like he is more mission specific for civs than teaching how to assault a target which makes perfect sense to me. The dudes called him government programmed are wild and gotta bring it down a notch

Because there are some states that have or are coming up with laws that don't allow the forming of a militias. Also, some (usually the polical far left) may view training a "militia" as a far right wing threat or a indication of a planned attempt to overthrow the government
